It's Sunday
Good morning Ladies,
I hope you are all well. It's grey and overcast once again, I'm sure we have a permanate cloud over North London
Mum came home on Friday and is doing really well, she is get up and walking about and going up and down a few steps that are out side just for exercise, she said the pain is getting less each day and the sickness has stopped, so fingers crossed for a speedy recover now.
We went up to Newport Pagnal and Milton Keynes yesterday to deliver easter eggs to my two cousins for their children, we then had a drive around so Alan could see some churches and then home and I made a chicken stir fry for dinner.
Today we are go to look at some new cars as we have to give ours back in May as it's three years old, we get our cars from Motorbility.
I wish you all a lovely day what ever you are doing.

Morning Mikki and Jan and all who follow.....
Another exciting day lined up for me..... washing!! Maybe take the kids to the park at lunchtime with a nice picnic as the is shining here too!
Great news about your mum and Good luck with the hunt for a car Mikki, does the Motorbility scheme work out well. I have just applied for Disability Living Allowance and someone mentioned it to me.... don't know if I would qualify though... but a car would make such a difference to me even though it's not me who can drive.
Have a nice wander today Jan xx

Good morning Mikki, Jan and Lou and all that follow.
Glad to hear your mum's doing so well Mikki must be a weight off your mind
Enjoy your walkabout Jan
Lou what can I say.....washing....there's always tomorrow
Jakey is still sniffing but alot brighter today, keeps hassling me to pack his case as he can't wait to go on his hols tomorrow. His nephew and half sister was also going on hols with him and his Dad. Jakey's nephew is 3 and is getting over chicken pox which we thought he'd be ok but he has now developed an infection and his mum has caught shingles from him
So as it's a 3 bedroom caravan I called my Dad and he's getting ready to pack his bags, Mum can't go as she has to work, so an all boys holiday
Have a lovely day whatever your plans

Re: It's Sunday
Well the PICNIC did not go according to plan... chased em both upstairs to get dressed.... made the sarnies, drinks, flask of coffee etc...... got 5 minutes down the road and Emily decided to have a coughing fit and be sick all over the pavement (and my new boots ) She is obviosuly not ready for a long walk yet, poor thing... she was gutted and kept saying sorry all the way back to the house.... daft child, as if I was worried.... just wanted to get her home!
So they sat down and had a carpet picnic

Re: It's Sunday
Good afternoon all, thank you all for the kind words re mum.
Lou, you have to have the high level of mobility payment to be able to get the car as it is this they take from you every month to pay for the car. What happens is you can see on the motorbility web site what garages near you take part , there are loads of makes to choose from, some cars you have to make a non refundable down payment on, but many small ones you don't. When you get your letter to say you have the high rate you can order your car and after the down payment the only other thing you pay for is the petrol. All servicing is free as is tax and insurance, with a curtise car if you need one, you keep that for three years and after that time you give the car back and start again with a new car. There is more info on the motorbility web site.
Sorry about the spelling.
Jan best of luck with the new job tomorrow.
We have seen a really nice Honda CRV car so heres hopeing I get the mobility allowance, I never just take it for granted that I will get it.
Have a great afternoon everyone.

Re: It's Sunday
Afternoon everyone, what a lovely day we have had, headed west and ended up at Headcorn aerodrome(was sorta the way Mike was heading anyway ), can sit and watch the planes takeoff, 2 Mustangs and a Spitfire turned up so Mike was well happy and there were little lambs right near us to We thought we went down roads that our poor little only dreads seeing, great big potholes and crevases and then what did I spy in a field a huge herd of reindeer tried to find them on the way back but must have taken a wrong turn somewhere and never saw them again will have to try and remember the way we went and go that way agin sometime Janet you might have even seen them and know where I mean
Hope Emily is feeling better Lou

Re: It's Sunday
Hi everyone
Hope you have all had a good not only Sunday but weekend as well.
I have had a busy one - one day i will have a quiet one to do some crafting
Hasnt' it been lovely weather wise though but i had to work this morning but only until 1pm where after lunch i had a sleep for an hour as i was so tired.
Went to my 2nd scrapbook crop y'day and loved it but i was so tired i was in bed and asleep by about 9.30pm and didn't wake up until 7.30 this morning - can't see it being late tonight either.
Catch up with you soon

Sorry to hear about Emily Lou, hope she soon gets rid of that cough. Jan, maybe the reindeer were only there on holiday and Santa came and has taken them back to the North Pole just a thought Glad you had a lovely afternoon. Martin came back with my plants and I have done some potting but still some more to do. Have done my stamping this afternoon too. I have had to put an extra sheet in of the stamps I didn't quite get right the first time so sorry to whoever gets mine, but you have got two of each stamp and a mis-stamped one of a few Will get them in the post tomorrow
