Good afternoon, well we are back at home. Had a lovely day out at Portsmouth yesterday, weather treated us kindly Very Happy Really enjoyed the Mary Rose museum as the last time we visited was 1982 when she had just been brought up, and it was nice to see all the things they found with her Shocked Martin enjoyed going on the ships best. We went on the Victory together then he went on the new destroyer while I did the MR museum. He wasn't that impressed by the ship itself as he said it was like one big playstation game down below, everything seemed to be controlled from a central point, not like the old ones - but thats what is needed now. The coach took us back to Hayling and the wind seemed to have dropped. We were lulled into a false sense of security as when we turned the corner to where our van was the gale blowing was still there. We had had enough of no sleep with flapping canvas keeping us awake so packed up and came home. Of course, we had a great downpour just as we were taking the awning down Mad so now it is out in the garden drying off Laughing Laughing We still enjoyed our time away though, met up with lots of other Bongo owners again Very Happy

Just caught up with all the threads, sorry to hear Lou & Jen that you are both having problems at the moment, glad to see Keith is having things sorted at last, and hope Kayleigh is recovering from her flu. My plan today is to do nothing too Laughing Laughing

It was Mum's birthday today so took Mum and Dad out for lunch should have booked as the place was packed. They managed to squeeze us in before the next people arrived but I didn't really enjoy it as I kept looking at my watch to make sure we didn't over run.
Jakey had a Birthday party this afternoon, dropped him off and had two hours to myself. Planned to catch up on some h*******k but made myself a cuppa and then woke up 90 minutes later with a headache Rolling Eyes
Still very tired but going to keep myself busy till 11 otherwise I'll be awake at 5 again.

Glad you had a nice time away Jacky, seems like the weather wasn't too kind to you Crying or Very sad
Hope everyone has had a good weekend and the poorlies are feeling a bit better Smile
