Good morning all Not a nice day again I was nice and warm and toasty yesterday evening after Martin had sorted out the rad valve Didn't sleep very well last night and have woken this morning with really bad backache. Have taken painkillers and it's almost gone now. Could be as I managed to tidy up the craft room last night so I was bending and lifting everything.

oopps I started a post as well! Trouble is I am watching Jeremy Kyle, and trying to type as well... and then there are the DNA tests to find out who belongs to who.... I forget what I am doing!

Me, I'm great fanks...... sore but had such a lovely day yesterday I don't care!!

Just made a lovely new baby card from a craftsuprint sheet... will stick in gallery later once stickles is dry!

Yesterday morning started out as a bit of a farce if I'm honest.... Ady came home from work a few days before saying that he and one of his workmates had been out in the truck and had passed a Garden Centre that the other bloke highly recommended.... so yesterday morning about half nine we set off to see if Ady could find this garden centre..he sid it was opposite a farm shop on the way to Worthing... so off we drove.... well we got as far as the farm shop and hey ho NO GARDEN CENTRE anywhere near it..... by this time we are twenty minutes from home and he is cussing and grumpy cos he has got it wrong... me and the girls are gigglin cos we think it's funny! which in turn made him more grumpy...... then.... all of a sudden......

A FLASH OF INSPIRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its in totally the wrong direction ... it's the Runcton farm shop (Not Bairds) which is about twenty minutes away from our house in totally the opposite direction.... so 40 minutes later we arrive there and get to the FANTASTIC GARDEN CENTRE.... and find its a load of old pants!!!!

Oh I have never laughed so much!!!!!!! So then we had the trip back home in near complete silence except for little bubbles of laughter from me and the kids!!!!

Successful outing??? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT.........

At 1.30pm my mum and dad picked us up and took us out for a birthday meal.... halfway between mine and Adys..... to a family restauraunt in West Wittering. It was lovely, the meals were way too big tho and as for the choc nut sundae.....

Then after that we went back to my mum's and spent the afternon and evening getting steadily sloshed and playing on the Wii! Also my dad had some of those chinese lanterns that you release into the sky so the kids did one of those each!

So the cruddy day ended very nicely... we came home about half nine and just collapsed!!! we were stuffed, slightly inebriated and very very tired!

Its looking promising! Albert and friends have gone... just got the electrician here, he is going to fire me up once he has finished!!! Looking forward to that

Cooeee... Lou-eeee!!!!! Sorry to hear you had a rubbishy day yesterday, but sounds as if you made up for it with wiiing, alcohol and food... so not all bad then

Afternoon ladies. Was supposed to be out doing some shopping etc but overslept this morning so decided I'd go this afternoon instead or maybe tomorrow! Glad you had a good day Lou - thought you were going to say it was full of craft stuff!
Jacky hope you get over the aches and pains - think it must be an age thing 'cos I get like that too! Glad you're warm again though!

Hope Michaela enjoys her flight and holiday - sure she'll be Ok once she gets airborne.

Hope Joshua recovers so he can enjoy half term.

I think those men are taking your mind off what your doing. Fingers crossed you are getting warm now (however you are doing it ) you know what those sparkies are like.

Sue, I was awake early this morning with my back but after Martin rubbed in some deep heat I dozed off again and didnt wake until 9.00.

I probably would have been stil asleep at nine o'clock if Roy hadn't phoned me at 8.30. He phones every morning and I have managed to get him to wait till then as it was sometimes just after 7.30 when he got to work

Went over to Art of Craft this afternoon to take stuff for their bring and buy sale on Saturday so bought my ticket for the Make it show. Anybody else going at the weekend?

We had a lovely day , after Dulcie was horrible to me on the phone last night... Mum and I went to buy food , which we almost forgot so we got carried away looking at lipsticks and buying clothes .... ooops ! eventually got the food and then after lunch Micky and I went to the beach but sadly we could 'nt go in the sea as the shark nets were down and did'nt fancy being munched by a shark !
Going into the game reserve on friday for the weekend , not Kruger but a local one which i s a lot smaller but very lovely .We are staying right out in the bush on friday night then in another camp on saturday and sunday night , so that will be fun. Speak later , big hugs to you all xxx
