It's Monday Again

Where does the weekend go? If only I could get away with working 2 days and having 5 off

Good morning Di and all who follow, foggy and raining here but still redhot.nothing planned for today so im off out in my craft room and using my new stamps i got from the crafty cow the other day. Enjoy your day if you are off out and hugs for the poorlies.

Off to classes at 9.15 but waiting for the wardrobe fitters first -hope this goes more smoothly than the kitchen refit a couple of years ago! Suspect I'll be inthe garden to escape the noise this afternoon -too hot for aerobics!

Hello everyone I am back from holiday , we went to Turkey it was fab ,really enjoyed ,got back yesturday morning , after a 3+ hour delay.But I am back ......so let the crafting begin , got a class tonight and am working a fair bit for july so should keep me out of mischief....on second thoughts not much keeps me out of trouble !!
Have'nt had time to cattch up on whats what but do hope everyone is well and that families an loved ones are all well and we can all enjoy the sunshine ,, Its good to be talking to you all again , I have missed you and have wihdrawl syptoms due to lack of crafting ! lexie xx

Its Amy's 16th Birthday today, so going to have a busy day preparing for a BBQ later on for her and a couple of friends!
Looks like its going to be a hot one - Cookie is out at the moment roaming around his estate! Had to shoo him off a Planter this morning, Pansies must be very tasty to rabbits as there arent many flowers left !!

Just spoken to my sister on the phone, and they have confirmed that it was meningitis my g.nephew had. He is now ok and they have said that he can go back to school although he may still get headaches for a while and to give him painkillers. His mum took him to my sisters this morning dressed in school uniform complete with jumper In the winter she brings him in a t-shirt and forgets his coat - luckily my sister has a supply of clothes for him. Anyway, my sister said she thought as it was so hot she thought it better to keep him home to keep an eye on him for a couple of days to see if he has headaches and then maybe send him for half a day to see if he can cope, so she agreed to that. I don't think she cares as long as she hasnt got to bother and he was so poorly

Aww bless him , hope he keeps well lucky for him that he has a lovely Grannie who cares . lexie

Sorry girls going to have to come clean ( excuse the pun ....) but I've done housework AND ironing today .Took the ironing board outside but the house work , what has come over me , only hope it does'nt last that would be dreadful ! Had a crafty mate round today and instead of us just gassing the whole two or three hours away like usual, I printed out some bits to do some oriental screen cards!!

So we got stuck in to them and she went home happy with a card for one of her mates who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer .....

Vintage class went well this morning but it was hot in the rooftop studio. No windowsa and only a small fan to move the air around.

I must be mad. Just got back from aerobics/gym/swim. Only 10 of us in the class instead of the usual 40+ but the swim was lovely and just 6 of us in the pool.

Bedroom coming on well. Nice to be the ones creating all the noise for a change. I see the neighbours have gone out! Our 2 days are not a patch on the 2 years we've had to put up with.

I have been playing around with card all day and not produced anything I was trying to make something different instead of the usual A5 cards which I usually do - decided to do a double diamond one but used card with pearlescent on one side and then proceeded to fold it the wrong way. Made another but it wasnt accurate enough and wasnt really big enough for what I wanted. So gave up on that and have done a bit of stamping and colouring. Have enjoyed myself though with the fan playing on me to keep me cool. Martin has been at golf all day and I dont envy him at all, although he wont be back in time for Badminton tonight so I will have to go as we keep all the equipment The airconditioning in there is really bad too

Afternoon ladies. Another hot one! Finished clearing all the prunings up and took it all to dump this morning. Was hoping to get rid of the old garden table as well but it won't fit in my car Might try and bribe the bin men to take it when they come! Really unbearable up here in craft room - can't open the window too much 'cos as soon as there's a bit of breeze everything blows off table so just having a quick check on e mails etc.

My craft room gets really hot , and have been feeling uninspired all day , made a card with Glimmer mists , on glossy card and then used glimmer mists on paper all crinkled then ironed it , was pleased with what I made , drove to Lingfield only to find I was'nt taking the class ......oh well nex weeks prep all done .... ..Iam not a huge

only half message came out , not sure what happaned there. Not a huge tennis fan but hope Murry wins the match , micky is glued to it,Still first day back at work and all that ! lexie

Been meaning to as you Lou are you feeling better did the intensive Physio terrorists do the job ? I should really get on with all T've got to do loads of cards to make , my family have been having babies , weddings and alsorts so I 'd better start or I 'LL NEVER HAVE TIME TO ORGANISE PHOTOBUCKET !!!!! yeah like I am going to know what I am doing , trouble is Micky can just about send a text so computers are completly behond him lexie

They did a wonderful job at the hospital Lexie. They were superb. Have had a couple of setbacks since then but am still doing all my exercises and staying as strong as I can xxx Thanks for asking hun x

Yes, wasnt too bad, only 7 turned up, me, Ian, Sally and then Martin got in from golf just in time to go and Ians father in law, plus 2 others. Like a family outing. I think a lot of people stayed away to watch the tennis. They had opened all the door to the hall so it wasnt too bad
