Re: Easter Sunday
Good morning and Happy Easter to you all Don't know what I am doing today. Ian and Ruth came yesterday afternoon for our BBQ and Callie was really quite well behaved in the garden She did get her paws up on the wall as if she was about to jump up on the bed but Ruth told her "Off" and she got down again. She has calmed down a lot now, just has a quick five minutes when she first gets here. I had just served out the pudding and a few enormous drops of rain started, so I said I was going in. The others said it had stopped but I dont like thunderstorms so went in immediately. I suddenly heard a commotion outside and the three of them were all racing to get up and grab their food and drinks to come in as the heavens opened and we had a torrential downpour. It wetted the new turf well A few rumbles were heard but it wasn't as bad as I feared it would be.
Re: Easter Sunday
Our Iain is over for a roast dinner today - smells good and I'm getting hungry. The rain missed us - just a tiny sprinkle that hardly damped the dust down but there were huge puddles just a mile down the road towards Sutton.
Singing part of the Messiah tonight so taking it easy for the reat of the day. No chairs left in the garden so I shall admire it from inside - don't do 'sun bathing' but may go for a walk over the downs later. Will go back and do another bluebell walk on Monday while clive is out at football.

Re: Easter Sunday
Evening all.
Jacky, we haven't had any rain today, its just been wall to wall sunshine.
Jane, I love sun bathing, but didn't get any done today
I went to Deborahs for lunch, cooked by my son in law, he loves cooking. And last night I got an invitation from one of Johns sisters to pop around this afternoon. I didn't really want to go but thought as I had been invited I had better, and thankfully it turned out better than I expected.
Am now home, relaxing with my feet up
