Good morning Janet and all who follow. Another hot day here but think its the last one. Got an appointment at the bank today - they phoned last week to say we should change our accounts so we will go along and see as we haven't changed in years.

Enjoy your day.

Morning Janet and all who follow...

Its warm here as well, looks like it could rain later.
More sorting out for me today... does make me think about all my stuff. I start collecting things, and things get a sentimental feeling to them and then I cant part with them! Think my first collection was when Princess Diana got engaged to Charles, I collected books, ornaments, anything... then it was Ducks, then Dolphins, our loft is full now!

Have a lovely day xx

I know what you mean Karen. I used to collect frogs but a few years ago I bit the bullet and took them to a charity shop apart from a couple which were given to me by the kids. Sally used to collect the lovely old fashioned dolls and bells and she sold them all last year at a car boot.

Yes thanks Karen. Mum still having trouble walking and hardly moved all day. She hasn't kept up the exercises and said she has had a bad week this week she was so much better a couple of weeks ago with more energy. I tried to tell her it was because she had done the exercises as the physio was coming back and he apparently said she was 10 times better. Then she stopped doing them as he said he didn't need to come again.

Does your Mum go to any Day Centres? I know down at the Home the other day they had got some of the residents exercising with oranges Rolling Eyes strange, but at least they were doing something. It is so important that they do have some kind of exercise... hope your Mum can manage to do some.

Oh... and thats another thing I collected ... Dolls! got some really nice ones, still got a couple of them out, but the others are collecting dust in the loft!

No, she used to go to one years ago with a couple of friends who unfortunately have passed on and the group closed. She doesn't think they are the sort of place she wants to go as "they are all dodgery old people there" Laughing Laughing She was watching a news bulletin yesterday, something about people have prescriptions but deciding which ones they took and didn't always take the ones they should, and she said "what's the point of going to the doctor if you're not going to do what they say" so I said that she should take her own advice and do what the physio told her. She just says it's so difficult but I think she has just given up now. I think she would be better if she had a carer going in instead of my sister, as she is far more likely to do what a carer says - like shower and change her clothes Rolling Eyes Can't believe it's my mum sometimes. Got to have a chat with my sister about everything now, she is taking her husband for his chemo today so don't want to add anything else to her day.

I used to collect dolls in their national costumes years ago when I was about 10 Laughing Found them in Mums loft years later and all the arms and legs had fallen off as the elastic holding them on had perished lol! I still have my doll which I took into hospital with me when I was 8 - cant believe I used to cuddle her as she is hard clay type of material but I used to talk to her in hospital and knit clothes for her. I was in for 9 months and only had visitors at the weekend Rolling Eyes
