Lexie update

Lexie has sent Lou a text as to what is going on and wanted her to put it on the forum. As Lou is stuck in bed and can't get to her PC she has asked me to do it for her.

Lexie has been at the hossy... she has definitely got to have a mastectomy but no chemo, (Lou thinks). She will have radiotherapy as well. She is having a reconstruction at the same time she has the mastectomy.

Made Ady bring the lappy upstairs but have been trying to post for ages, in the end the only way I could reply to this was to click 'quote' on your post Jacky!!

Bit like Chinese whisphers !!! Going to have a mastectomy , with a reconstruction straight away , NO CHEMO NO Radiotheraphy ...got a few choices of types of reconstruction but have;nt decided what way yet..... but could be as close as 11th October .... ....but to be honest just want the 2 cancer places cut out and gone .... so I can get on with my life...Feeling very positive and strong now , will probably be a heap tomorrow ...ALL the staff at Worthing have been fantastic really involving me in my treatment .speak soon .Thanks to Lou and Jacky xxx

Hehe Chinese Whispers indeed..... trouble was Lexie after u text the first time I had cleared my phone message inbox (as there were 403 in there) and then you text back and asked me to put it on here so I was trying to remember exactly what you had written...then I sent it to Jacky!!

Thats the spirit babe, whip the manky bit off and start again xxxxx Thats what my MIL did and she is going great guns still after 5 years cancer free xxx
