Update on Jayne

Got here to Ireland this morning at 11am and absolutely shattered, went to Jayne's first and had a freshen up and a sandwich and then went to the hospital, what I saw I could never have been ready for, she didnt look like Jayne at all. I almost lost it but held it together just in case she can hear me, didnt want to distress her. I sat with her and talked and told her veryone sends their love and good wishes, named them all took a while ad think I remembered everyone, thanks to Lou I have a few more now Have just talked about happy times and things we got up to as kids just cheery things in the hope she can hear me and fights. She has got a battle for her life to fight but with everyone behind her I know she can do it, I have to believe that.
Good night ladies any developments and I will let you know.

Jayne took a turn for the worse this morning but they have managed to stalise her again, she is fighting

Long time since I have been on here folks but I have just heard the news about Jayne and to be honest I am in tears writing this.
She will be in my prayers and in my heart and I pray to God that things will turn right for her.
Jan, if you get the time to read this, please tell her that her 'Aunty Sadie' sends her lots of love and a great big hug.
My thoughts now go to you and her family especially her darling son.
Have to close now as I just am too upset to type any more.

I spoke to her consultant and after this mornings setback he is happy with the progress she has made today, she is a long way off being out of the woods but it is a step closer.
Aunty Sadie you have been gone far to long and I am sure when I see Jayne tomorrow and tell her you send her lots of love and a big hub although hugs proper are out at the moment will give her arm a squeeze she will appreciate it too

That's what Jayne needs Sadie, a damn good talking to
On a lighter note yesterday when I was at the hospital was sitting there talking to her and Jim her estranged hubby came in and all of a sudden Jayne almost jumped out the bed, I was oh 'sugar' and it made me jump outta my skin nearly I turned and looked at Jim and he had the same look on his face as I probably did and then all the machines went off binging and bleeping and I was scared I can tell you, the nurse just ambled in and asked us to leave while she cleared her breathing tube. Where the antibiotics are now starting to work the infection is starting to shift on her chest and it had blocked the tube. I almost had a heartattack it scared me so much but the fact the nurse didnt panic or rush in we knew it was ok, and as mad as this might sound although we walked out of her room shaking we were also giggling that we had got such a shock and Jim said to me he is sure she waits for him to come in before she does something
Was not long after that her consultant spoke to us and said he was happy with her progress yesterday morning, so from sitting there fighting back tears and then being scared half to death we had some good news at last, she has a very long way to go but each day she is still with us is one day closer to her recover. There will be up days and down days but with all the prayers people are saying around the world for her and the positive thoughts she can make it.
Sorry if I am prattling on but I know at least here I can you ladies are keeping me going along with Mike who I am misssing like crazy and Di without who's help I could not have got here this week. Jim's family has been brilliant to driving me to and from the hospital and even making sure we had supplies in for when we got here.

It is bound to be up one minute and down the next Jan, just knowing she is a fighter is good.....

So pleased to hear Jayne has made a slight improvement.

A little bit more good news, they have taken her off the blood pressure monitor because that has now stablised and are today going to start feeding her via drip
