weekend again

Hello to you all and I hope all is well with everyone, are any of you up to much this weekend. We have our carnival this weekend so fingers crossed for dry weather, there are fireworks after, and then the family are doing a `camping weekend` [ will keep a good eye on our Duke this weekend], needless to say Richard and I will NOT be tenting!!!! have good weekend all. Off to a wedding in Horsham tomorrow -My son's the Best Man. Forecast is for cold and windy with possible shower so fingers crossed it won't spoil the day. At least I can fit into my posh frock now!

Gloomy here at present with rainin the air and grwy skies but still quite warm.
Doing lots of odd jobs that I have been putting off-mainly admin.
Plan towatch the opening of the Olympics later.

Hoping the rain will stay away (not much chance) as going to a friends 60th birthday and he is having a Hog roast.

What started as a very gloomy day
has turned into brilliant sunshine
I have my ceiling and walls washed
I am gonna wait till my son goes with his dad
tomorrow to start the painting, I bought a lovely
Laura Ashley paper for the chimney breast

Its very different to anything I would usually choose
but I like it, and I have new curtains and cushions
and my new suite should be here by next wednesday
and then that room will be all done

We now have all our new central heating plumbed in apart from the living room one
But that was our fault as we changed our mind and have ordered another tall slim one the same as the one in the dining room area
We also had new worktops fitted in the kitchen and they are looking very posh
so the house is totally upside down and I am up in bed writing this

Jimmy and I have been banished to the craftroom all week which sounds fantastic but......
With Jimmy having a wind problem
Me not being able to put my feet I am in a sorry state
One good thing though............I am a bit, just a bit, more organised in there now

Poor Alan has the whole of downstairs to re-organise and clean over the weekend and I am afraid I am of no help whatsoever

I keep hoping that maybe at least one of his sons will come round and help..........
We will wait and see

That is lovely Jayne - so much so that I can see background and decoupage happening with the offcuts he he The wallpaper in my bedroom, only on 1 wall, is black tapestry. Its a crying shame really that I bought almost a full roll too much he he
Hugs to Alan having all that cleaning and sorting out to do, I don't envy the poor man. I hope one of his sons does turn up to help him as he has work again on Monday

I love the wallpaper Jayne. It will look lovely on your walls. What colour is your suite. Sadie take it easy and keep our fingers crossed that Alan will get some help cleaning. Make sure he doesnt overdo it, there is always another day
