Stormy Tuesday
Well what a dreadful day! So windy and wet all night. Had to get up at 3am to close window. Roy has abandoned his journey to Reading and gone home as the rail line was blocked with a fallen tree and if he had got in would have been worrying about getting home again later. (He still remembers getting stuck there in the snow last year!!). I was going into town to get a few things but think I will wait till tomorrow rather than go out in this. I'll take the decorations down instead. Hope you all have a good day and keep warm and dry (I expect Jane certainly will
Re: Stormy Tuesday
Good morning Sue and all who follow. It is a bit rough isn't it. Ian has another fence post down, they have fixed 4 already and Martin checked the others but obviously missed one. The tree over the rail line is near Sally, we heard it on the news and it is where her horse is stabled. We should be on our first walk this year today but decided last night that we wouldn't bother. I shouldn't think anyone would have gone. Stay safe, I just sat and watched a Christmas film - Snowglobe.
Re: Stormy Tuesday
Stay safe - your weather sounds grim too. At least our heatwave is over (for a few days at least) and the night time temperatures are back to normal.
What with earthquakes, typhoons, gale force winds, heatwaves, cyclones, etc.... what a bizzare world we live in.

Morning !
Jane ... love the brolly pic!!
Its wild and windy here as well. The rain woke me in the night.
Not going far today, tablets to collect and thats about it.
Making Mum's birthday card, have done a bookatrix, but got to decide what to do with the middle bit.
Enjoy your day xx

Re: Stormy Tuesday
Good evening Ladies
Well the weather matched the mood of us lot that went back to work today - Not good!!
I had trouble opening the car door to get out due to the wind direction, thought maybe it was trying to tell me something.
Last Godchild taken home this afternoon by OH and he has now gone to work. So back to a quiet house.
Did you get many nice craft things for Xmas ladies?
Pat
