Cutting machines Empty Cutting machines

Post  mikki Tue Aug 12, 2008 9:13 am

Hi All,

I am thinking of getting one of the electronic cutting machines, I have a cuttlebug which I love but it is restricted in size, so what I wanted to know is what types of cutting machines you have and would you reccomend them. I didn't really want one that uses the computer.

Thanks in advance.

I have the cricut expression and love it, i had the craft robo first and did not like it, it was not for me ive vnever looked backed since i bought it. The cartridges are fab with all the sizes it does and diferant themes. It does not get used that much now but it comes in handy when i need.

I love my Cuttlebug and have a few dies and sizzix alphabets I use with it. I also have a largish collection of punches of all sizes. I like the look of the new 'Slice' but can't justify spending all that on a die-cut machine. - stamps will probably always come first with me!

I have the Cricut too and did wonder about the others when I was about to buy
I looked at all the sites going and found a LOT of people had problems with the Robo etc yet never heard a bad word about the Cricut apart from the fact that you had to buy cartridges and couldn't connect it to the computer (at that time)

You can now and the cartridges are brilliant value for money when you consider the amount and the variety of shapes you get in one!!!

I can honestly say I love my Cricut though I have not, as yet, bought the software to connect it to the computer
Hoping that santa and rendeer will bring that Laughing

I have the cricut, my dear son got it for me for a Christmas gift last year. I'm not really using it a lot. I have the Wizard (Spellbinders) and love it, had it ever since they came out and love their dies and have the nestabilites dies. I seem to pull that out a lot more. I also have the cuttlebug machine which is nice too. I guess which machine that you think you would use a lot more would be my question to myself. My cricut is sitting in the box along with three cartridges I have bought. I was really surprised that my son got that for me... Cause of space and everything here... I think I would use it a lot more if it were sitting out on my kitchen/craft table....
I know it's hard to figure out which one you want, but consider how much will you use it? Is the Price right for your budget...And then space wise?

I too have Cricut like Scotty I love it. The cartridges are good as you can choose which ones you will use the most.

Mikki you choose but I dont think you will be dissappointed with Circut.
