Friday
Good morning ladies.
Looks as if the sun just might be coming out again today.
Its my morning for the charity shop, I seem to have fitted in so many things in the last three days it seems ages since I last went.
But at least its kept my mind off smoking. I stopped on 9th December but at times I still really crave for one, but then I remind myself how much a packet of 20 cost
Hope you all have a good day.

Re: Friday
Good morning Marion and well done for giving up smoking I haven't listened to the budget this week but no doubt they have gone up again, I know they have done alcohol in supermarkets as that's all they seem to be talking about on the news this morning
Had a lovely time with my 2 friends yesterday afternoon, haven't had a good chat since we went out a few weeks ago for dinner with the golfing lot. As I was seeing them out I was surprised Callie hadn't come to the door. When I went back in she was laying in the garden with Martins Birkenstock sandal in front of her - she had chewed the strap off completely She did look so sorry for herself when I told her off. They were pretty new as he had them to slip on if he went into the garden instead of wearing his slippers, but he never bothered and he didn't like the moulded soles. I love mine.
Enjoy you day whatever you are all doing today hugs for those who need them.

Re: Friday
Morning!
Ooopppss... naughty Callie! They certainly dont take long to chew things to pieces.
This morning, I was looking for a telephone number on the windowsill.. Daisy came running up, jumped on the chair arm and onto the windowsill! I picked her up, she made a grab for one of the china roses, dropped it... Bailey grabbed it and went to run outside - me... I was one step ahead, shouted and rattled the biccie tin - works wonders! I can shout at Bailey and it doesnt make the slightest bit of difference, Daisy on the other hand, ears back and sits down. Fortunately the rose didnt break.
So... today a bit of housework and then make a list of what I 'need' from the NEC tomorrow - its the Craft show, looking forward to it as it has been a couple of years since I have been to Birmingham.
Coffee time and then must get on!
Have a lovely day x

Re: Friday
Morning all. Lovely day here . All packed and ready to go -could have booked the earlier train after all!! Being a pessimist I've packed a raincoat but don't think I'll need it.
Cat had left me a present again in the utility room when I got up this morning but at least I'm fairly certain she does it when the fox is in the garden. All the presents last week coincided with the fox digging its hole and her litter tray is fairly close to the cat flap. Don't want to move it as I wouldn have to move it each time I went into the garage and I think she would normally go for it in its usual place - if that makes sense!
Have a good weekend all.

Re: Friday
Karen when I saw what she had she grabbed it ready for a Chase but I just went in and picked up her bag of treats which Ruth had left me, so she dropped it and ran in and I got to the shoe before she realised she wasn't getting anything Glad Daisy didn't break your flower - they really are naughty. Callie usually runs off with socks so I have been especially careful.
Sue have a great time
Lexie, good luck for the cards tomorrow.
