Good morning girls

I am up and about early this morning, I have to go for a blood test at the surgery, they open at 8am and its a case of first come first served! and I bet however early I get there, there will be loads in front of me. I swear they start queueing the night before

Then whenever I get out of there I am off to the charity shop for my usual Friday morning.

Marion... hope you get to the surgery first... our surgery used to be like that (to see the Dr) it was always packed... they changed to an appointment only, and in one respect, it has sorted out those that went for a day out!! One regular woman would go with 4 kids, she would take a picnic and lay it out on one of the tables... there was pop and cheesy wotsits all over the place.
Amy has her list of questions all prepared and is looking forward to this interview.
Another nice day, I am hoping Keith can get some petrol for the lawnmower, otherwise the grass wont get cut and as the weather is on the change, it might be awhile before I can do it.

Good morning Marion and all who follow lovely morning again today but maybe the last one as its Martins last day at work so the weather is bound to change Hope the queue wasn't too long this morning.

I am going to try and get my sisters card done so I can take it to Cheltenham when we go tomorrow for Mums birthday, as its her birthday the following Saturday. Save a stamp I took out a mortgage yesterday to buy 12 1st class stamps and 12 large ones.

Marion hope you did'nt have to wait to long for your blood test , I 've got one next week , must'nt forget !we seem to have a path from our house to all the local hospitals !
Karen hope Amys interview goes well .... fingers crossed .Hope you managed toget fuel for the mover ! we were out early ish yesturday and drove straight in and filled up , but when Rupe came round later ..... in ' our ' car , he said everywhere was queing .hope he managed to get some as when i gave him the car it was only a half a tank !i was'nt going to fill it up to get it back in 2 weeks empty ..... i know hes a poor student ... but he does ok out of me !!!lol
hope you get your cards done Jacky , I know postage is crazy , i sent a Easter card to mum and one to my friend in south africa , plus a long envelope with bits in to mum did'nt get much change out of a tenner ?????!!!!
Micks pills seem to be working alot better , since monday he 's lost a stone in weight ( alll fluid !) and looks and says he feels better . well must dash few things to do .
must just tell you , a lady I don't know that well had a lovely dress on the other week, I commented on it ' asda ' she said , I said its lovely she asked what size was I . Last night she came round , with a brand new dress for me ... as a gift how kind was that ! i was relly touched ...

Hello all from a sneezy, snotty, hacking me!

Yes I have the cold from hell, feel absolutely rotten. Just hope its worst is over with by tuesday as I have my liver scan. Also the girls break up today so have confined myself to bed so as not to spread my germs round the house!

Really glad Callie pulled through that scare yesterday Jacky. No more drinking from muddy puddles, I know there is a water shortage but thats ridiculous!

Karen really hope Amys second visit goes well. Also that Keiths op is sorted soon.

Amy got the job!!! So pleased for her, and of course so proud of her.
She starts on the 10th April, for a month's trial.
I am getting all the details, from the uniform, to wearing her hair up!!!

sorry haven't been about much , trying to sort out school for Dulcie and battling ..... the school shes in is lovely just not right for Dulcie she has made very little progress ...and gone backwards in alot of things .... I actually blame atilla the hun , oops I maean her hungarian witch of a teacher ..... who is scary .... and has told me off on several occassions .....!!!we are talking kids with special needs ....... don't get me started .... lol
