Hi and glad to be back Empty Hi and glad to be back

Post  cubbie66 Sat Jul 05, 2008 6:03 pm

Thought it was about time I said hi after my spell in hospital, have been pretty poorly but am back on the mend now Very Happy
Spent the 1st week on IV antibiotics of all sorts including Gentamycin which is pretty powerful stuff apparently, 3 trips to theatre and all the morphine and other pain relief I have been on have meant I wasnt too lucid a lot of the time(some would say how did they tell lol) and poor Mike has been worried sick, as has Jay and my daughter, who has really surpassed herself and been there every step of the way with me, even letting me almost break her hand by squeezing it when they put yet another canula in my ever decreasing veins lol Consultant a couple of days before I came out of hospital said I was very lucky that I did something when I did, me taking that as if I hadnt outcome could be very different, scarey stuff Shocked but as I said am back on the mend now just relaxing at home

Thank you to Jen for the lovely card you sent me was really appreciated and perked me up Smile
