Help with ATCs

No I am not in the wrong thread...........at least I don't think so

As some of you will know I am off to a QVC crafting afternoon on Friday
There is going to be an ATC swap there and of course I want to join in
What is the policy with these things?
I have never been to anything big before.........craft show etc
Is there a theme you do, none has been mentioned, and how many do you take
I know all about the aspects of general ATC rules, thanks to Trish

Have a brilliant time Scotty. I usually take 20 - 30 to these events just in case. Some people can quite choosy and are very selective often keeping back their best efforts if they don't think the standard is high enough. I encountered this at Ally Pally last year. Luckily this doesn't often happen with most UK swappers. Just bring a good selection of ATCs and I'm sure you'll bring lots of lovely new ones back.

Just finding my way round on this site and look forward to making you all my friends.

I get the newsletter from docrafts and it is a pretty useful site
Never thought to look for the ATC swap
I love making and getting them
It is just that I have never been to any big event yet

How rude for people to do that with their ATCs
Don't they realise the effort that people go to?
I would NEVER put down anyone else's efforts

Why not join our ATC monthly swap Jayne. You only need to make 2 on the given theme (3 1/2" x 2 1/2") send them with a SAE to Trish and at the end of the month she'll send you 2 new ones back! Easy Peasy

what sort of stamps are you after is it the one to stamp on the back of you atc cards because i get alot of my bits from www.tandastamps.com if you are after the cards the card stock from QVC that Dawn Bibby uses you can cut up is the right width and is coloured i will look out the number for you. I have not swapped for ages aslots of probs with postage but please dont let that put you off. Any more questions i will be happy and try and help but i'm away on holiday on Tuesday for 2wks Hope this helps

It's postage stamps Sue, as you need to send a stamped addressed envelope and Jayne lives in Ireland, she needs uk stamps to return ATCs to her from the uk
