Weather extremes
ANOTHER shark has been spotted just metres from the Grange jetty as South Australians brace themselves for the hottest weather since the March heatwave last year. (started the day we left)
The large shark was sighted two metres from the end of the jetty about 1.30pm. The Westpac Life Saver Rescue helicopter has herded the shark - measuring about three metres - a kilometre out to sea.
Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to reach 41C in Adelaide on Tuesday with other parts of the state even hotter.
Bring it on - hope it lasts! Perhaps 30s would be better though. Thank goodness they have a pool.
Meanwhile................. back home. The heavy frost looks spectacular.

Re: Weather extremes
Lovely pics Jane, blimey that cobweb look likes it's made out of string.
Think what they say about the berries on the trees being plentiful when we are due to have a very cold winter is true, the bushes and hedgerow were totally laiden with berries this autumn.

Re: Weather extremes
I was out & about y'day in the Newbury/Oxford area and what lovely scenery it was with regards to the heavy frost we had.
Just a shame i couldn't just stop in the middle of the road to take any pics, but thought better not. Why it is though when you see a scenery like that with example the frost on the trees (or a beautiful sunset) you can't stop to take pics and i took my camera just in case.
Oh well never mind your pics you took though are lovely
