Can't believe this weather

Its still pouring.

Friends of ours have been in the UK fromAustralia for nearly 3 weeks and have had rain every single day. They were getting soaked in the Lake District when we had the sunshine during first week of Wimbledon and its followed them up and down the country ever since.

Mind you after the drought in South Australia its a novelty - but wearing off quickly now.
Hope they see the sunbefore they go back.

Oh dear poor people. I expect the novelty is wearing off for them. You can only enjoy so much rain.
It hasn't stopped all day here and looks like it's going to rain all night too

i think we have seen the last of the summer , it was last month for a week, i too hate all this rain and flooding

I think I just caught a glimpse of the sun between the trees a monment ago!

The sun is still shining here but the clouds are gathering very quickly.
I think summer is over.
I was very lucky indeed. I had the good weather while I was away in Dorset.
I do wish we could have decent summers they really make you feel better and lift your mood.

If not this forum is the place to be - it really raises your spirits too and you don't need any factor 30!
