Good morning ladies Raining this morning and feels a little chillier that of late but was like that yesterday and warmed up through the day
Lexie some of the people I know on Facebook add formerly or was and then their maiden names to their names on Facebook.
Hope all the poorlies are feeling better and all the aches and pains are subsiding
Cant believe it is Friday already, where are the weeks going, will be Christmas again before we know it

Hooray it's Friday Hoping to finish work a bit earlier today so that I can take Jakes to the park, thats if the weather gets better.

Had a thought about Facebook Lexie if it school friends or ex-work colleagues you are wanting to find try searching for your old schools and work places on, might through up a few surprises

Lexie... With facebook, when you register it gives you the opportunity to put your maiden name in a separate section and then it will still bring you up in a search result. You will appear in the search list with your married name/current name but the search will check for maiden names x

Hope everyone has a nice day planned and that the weather is kind.... it is horrid and grey here, but I am staying in to make some quiches so I don't need to go out other than to buy some eggs. Thought I had enough but my 10 year old has just been taught how to make scrambled eggs in the microwave, think she has had em every day for the past 4 days! She'll have to calm down as her cholesterol will be sky high!


My painkillers have certainly done the trick and I am feeling much better after two full nights sleep... I didn't even need any Tramadol at all yesterday or last night.... the co-codamol took the pain from last night and settled it so I didn't resort to Tramadol, I don't want to take em unless I have to!

Good morning all - pouring with rain here and of course, we are off camping Just about to take Molly to the kennels before we finish packing everything. Had a very restless night for the past two nights, lets hope I can get some sleep in the van tonight - I am soooo tired. Only going for a couple of nights so you wont miss me n

Actually managed to have a lie in, kids arent coming until 12.00 so will whip around with the hoover and duster!

Wot a clever lot you are!!!!I don't normally do the past too busy coping with the present and worry sick about what will happan to my Dulcie in the future, she was kicking off last night ....started when she broke her new flip flops dancing in them WHILE wearing socks Not a good look!!!! LOOKING forward to monday when they go back to school she is getting bored now thats when the trouble starts!!!!Also got to start her on new medication and reduce the current stufff, not looking forward to that carry on , hates change does my Dollie !

Home today as Dad needs taking to hospital for some surgery on his knee so
dutiful daughter that I am (and the one who is nearest with a car) I will be
taking him in. No doubt Mum and I will get some shopping in while he is down as
well there is a range close by so that is always good for a visit.

Hope you all have a good day, it is grey here but looks like it should stay dry.

Mum has packed him a pair of shorts in case he can't get his trousers on over the dressing
As I made it quite clear, he was not coming outside that building wearing one of those
dodgy gowns!

Pat hope your dads knee is ok , its sad the way we look after our parents after all the years they lookafter us! Its difficult for me as I am only daughter , one brother over here ( who if I am honest is a waste of space ,) my younger brother lives in South Africa but still about 5OO Miles away from my parents.Iam fortunet they are'nt to lod or infirm but I suppose the time will come when they do become that way!!! BUT Don't know what I 'll do then as My husband is only 6 months younger than my step dad !!! lexie x

Morning all I was set to go to a Royal Horticultural show in Cardiff today but, for the first time all week its raining, pouring here so have been advised by someone who is working there to go tomorrow or Sunday instead as the weather forecast is more promising. Apparently its a long walk to get there from the main road too so he advised that I take my mobile chair with me just in case he he

Lexi have fun on Facebook and I hope that Dulcie will calm down for you soon I've registered on it then given up altogether and uninstalled it from my comp, I don't have the time to go on there any more he he.

I'm glad someone else does the computer clean-up routine too Sue, I thought it was me being paranoid he he. They do work a lot better after a Windows re-install though. Windows is dreadful for picking up rubbish and hanging on to it I try and get mine done at least every 3-6 months but remove all temp files and caches etc every week, sometimes daily if I've been downloading a lot of graphics.

New medication knocked Dulcie out she is sound asleep , well actually thats a fib she is snoring big time I am going to grab a coffee while the going is good !! Good afternoon ladies my you lot have been chatting a lot this morning, i was up at the crack of dawn seeing hubby off to work, i then went back to bed got up at eight had brekkie , did a bit of housework then went for my eyes and lip wax came back and fell to sleep i thought id got over the jetlag. hugs to those who need them and enjoy the rest of the day

The sun has got his hat on... what a difference it makes to our outlook! It's windy, but the sun is out, and things look altogether more cheerful. Although I couldn't always watch it, I do miss Moovision on Fridays. I've just watched crafting on QVC and was so bored I began to sort out some paperwork, (and I have to be very bored for that) but it was more interesting than the programme, because I forgot it was on until it ended! I assume Sam has left the Crafty Cow, I am sorry, I thought she was perfect for Moovision.
