Happy Tuesday

It's mid morning for us. Just had my porridge and apple for breakkie. Crashed out at 7.00 last night and slept till 5.00am so feeling nearly human again. Made a cuppa and read till the girls arrived at 7.00 for their cuddles and stories.

Coped quite well with yesterday's swim and, although the ankles are still a bit swollen the stifness is wearing off. 16 .6 and rising. Mornings nice for shopping and then peak temperatures at 4 - 5 (26 - 28ish later!) Going have a BBQ tonght

Off to watch the 'Tour Down Under' later and a trip to the Zoo later in the week to see the new pandas. Taught Sophie how to make an origami box yesterday and we're going to look for some 'Binca' to get her started on embroidery.

Sleep well and talk to you later when it's your tomorrow.

Think thats the first time I have started a post with good for about a week and a half LOL

Woke up feeling brighter in myself today... must be the thought of only 2 days to go till my (hopeful) salvation!

Got Lexie's lovely swap card in the post yesterday so will go and put that in the swap room in a mo, thanks Lexie for the kind words inside xxxx All these flowers and gems must have taken an age!! I have yours ready to go out, just keep reminding hubby to get it to the PO but he is off work tomorrow so will make sure it goes out then!

Made some more cards yesterday, having just subscribed to my very first card making magazine and I received my first free gift, a lovely pack of spring coloured papers and they gave me some inspiration so I had a nice couple of hours! Wiill put the photos in my gallery in a bit too! Also received a very cute handbag card from a lovely friend on another forum..... look at this... aint it gorgeous?

just a quickie to let you all know Jayne is unwell, she has been for a few weeks and doctor wanted her to go in for a full health check and they have kept her in hospital. She was when I rung last night on oxygen therapy because her blood oxygen levels are very low but when I rung up this morning they have sedated her and put her on a ventilator because the oxygen therapy wasnt working, this was a huge shock for me and dont know what to do with myself. Have rung work and explained I might need to go over to Ireland, I know Jayne hasnt been on the forum in a very long time but just some who know her might like to know

She is in a critical condition Lou, I have no current passport and am trying to get one sorted as the last time I spoke to the hospital they said I should come, omg I am so scared

Jan , I don't know who Jayne is but sounds like someone very close to you , so I wish her well , and for you to stay calm and colleced and get everything sorted so you can go to her .Shock is awful ah ...Iam sure all of us here wish you the best , big hug to you x

Good afternoon all, Jan I have sent you a pm.

Had our walk this morning which was quite cold but nice to get out again. Think I will suffer tomorrow. Came up here to see what was happening and the phone went. My friend over the back field had found her neighbour lying in her garden where she had been for about an hour. She has had a hip replacement a couple of months ago and had bent over too far and fallen. She had crossed the garden on her bottom and sat on the step calling. Luckily my friends dog kept bothering my friend, coming in and out and in the end jumped on her lap, which he never does so she thought she had better go out and take him for a walk on the field where she heard her neighbour call. She wanted me to go over and help her into the house but when I got there she was in so much pain I just called the ambulance, she was soooo cold too. Paramedic came followed by an ambulance they think her hip has popped out again In the meantime, Martin had gone for a quick ride to test out something on his bike, came in and called up that he was back telling me all about it, then when the phone went he shouted that he would get it as it would be the garage about his car and when he went upstairs realised he had been talking to himself I have just got my fingers working again as we must have been out there for at least another 45 mins.

Lou, glad you sound a bit chirpier today - and hope all the poorlies are improving

Jan hun loads of hugs and sending positive vibes for Jayne. Who has her little boy at the moment is he with his dad? It must be so worrying for you, can you get an emergency passport at the post office one of those one trip things as its part of the EU. Don't worry about doing the card for me hun until all this is sorted and Jayne is better again and out of hosp. She is the priority now.

Just going to pack my bag, have filled out the passport application and found out exactly where I have to go tomorrow. No more news other than no change, every minute I dont hear anything I am happier but scared out of my wits at the same time.
Dean is with his Dad but will be staying at Jayne's house so he can come back home while we are there.
I want to thank you all ladies from the bottom of my heart it helps a lot to know you are all out there and have Jayne in your thoughts, going to go now before I start blubbing again, see you all soon and no getting up to mischeif while I am away because I will be checking up on you all and the nawtee step is still in place

So sorry to hear about Jayne. Really miss her as she used to be very chatty on this forum. It must have been a terrible shock for you and so worrying too. Do hope you manage to get to see her soon, being twins you must be very close.
Don't worry about things on here - she is your number one priority for now. Sending love and prayers and thinking of you all. Hope her situation improves soon.
