Tuesday - Happy Australia Day

Been on the beach all morning - swimming, playing ball, building castles, collecting shells, drinking ice cold beer etc.
It's now 2.00pm and we're back home starving hungry - the BBQ is hotting up and we've got a sausage sizzle with roast veggies soon. A gentle 32 with a slight breeze - perfick!

Kids back to school tomorrow so early night for all of us tonight. Have a terrific Tuesday.

Jane... sounds a perfect day !!

Been so busy this past week... council have at long last turned up at mums to get her kitchen done - its a complete mess at the moment - but by Friday, it should look better and we can start putting stuff back.
I have the OT coming to see me today - the one that saw mum regarding her memory problems. Not looking forward to it really, but hoping she can give some advice.
Also having our hair cut, a chap coming to measure Mum's bathroom, Loft Insulation people going in as well. Mum has been in the same house for almost 50 years and it hasnt had a lot of work done to it, seems its all been done this week!!!

I am feeling pretty good now, epidural has definately helped. Only pain I am getting is duie to arthritis so can stand that! I am certainly walking and getting up and around much easier! Yay!!!

Was going out to lunch but has been cancelled as the rotten lot of theives have been down the field again and stolen all the horses equipment, the broke into a iron container and took the lot, so Dick has gone down to try and make it safe

Well the OT came out to see me... and I dont know why!!! Dont get me wrong, she is very nice - but other than sitting down on the settee and nodding her head at some of my questions... that was it!!! She did put her name to a form that I have to fill in as Mum may be entitled to some more money - and said she would see us at the appointment at the end of next month.

Had a fantastic time with our pals at Gloucester, we went up on saturday afternoon , went o my friends house in the Forest , and the big suprise was at 7 in he evening at a lovely hotel , Roger her fella kept her away so she hought they were having a small gathering at Trudi 's , but infact i was a big gathering at a local hotel , she was really surprised and shocked ! It was lovely we stayed wih them at the farm in Gloucster. We sat wih a anoher couple we'd met in July and October i was lovely . We got home fairly late last night , we 'd been to Broadway , and Boulton on the water and a leisurely drive home .These are the people we met in Antigua last year and who are comming for the first 2 weeks of our holiday in South Africa in 3 weeks time !!! Getting excitede now ....

Janet - that is just so annoying having all the horse things stolen, hope it's insured - it costs so much to replace too. When you take the trouble to secure everything it makes you wonder what you have to do to keep things safe

I have been out to a craft shop and spotted the cd which Andrea used to make my lovely card - there was only one left so I just had to have it Just going to check it out now
