Hope it is warming up at home for you all. 24 at the moment (just after breakfast) and due to be 30 - 34 for the rest of the week here. Karen has taken the girls up to Sophie's school to see which class she's in when se goes back on Wednesday. Lazy day today (resting my knee and not overdoing it, I promise.) Getting golden glow to replace my pasty legs and have slowed right down. So laid back I coud fall over if you blew hard!

Big celebrations for Australia Day -we're planing a beach BBQ and fun and games in the park, followed by firework display. I expect the boys will be watching the test match with 'tinnies' in hand

Miss chatting with you all as I don't usually get long on here and the times vary so much. Most of you are fast asleep when I'm around. Glad the poorlies are getting better and nice to see some old friends back. Sadie, you brought a tear to my eye too. Being a gran is such a gift! My little ones are spoiling me rotten

We've been up in the hills to visit Harndorf - a pretty German touristy town in the wine area about half an hour's drive through the Bellair national park. Sampled some great wines at Harndorf Hill winery then on to strawberry picking at the Beerenberg Farm - a kilo for about a fiver! (ate loads as we were picking too) a sizzling 34 in the shade but the field in full sun was much hotter so did not stay there too long!

Good morning all, got to go food shopping today. I haven't been for a proper shop since Christmas Shocked sent Martin with a list during the snow and last week I went down to Waitrose and they didnt have half the things I wanted, still it saved a bit of money Laughing

I tidied my craft room then didnt want to mess it up again as I remembered a friend was going to come to do her grand-daughters birth announcement cards with me (she hasnt been born yet, due next week by caesarian) Last night it dawned on me it is next Monday she is coming. I didnt tidy it because she was coming but because I couldnt work in there any more What a Face I will have to make sure I put things away as I go along so we have space to work next week Laughing

Jane, we spent Christmas 1975 in Handorf in a caravan, and met friends on the beach for Christmas Dinner Laughing Andrea hope your disc comes today so you get to play Very Happy Hugs to alll the poorlies and for those who need one today.

Good morning all,

Hope everyone is feeling ok today.

Massive hugs for anyone under par including Jayne and Jan of course xxx

Jane.... sounds like you are really enjoying yourself. Hope you didnt get a bad stomach after all those strawberries!

Jacky... know what you mean about not having done a proper shop since Christmas, I threw out a Yule Log that I found buried at the back of the cupboard yesterday LOL
I got my first proper shop in on Saturday (Asda delivery) and it was over £100 cos I was trying to run the freezer and cupboards down a bit!

Karen... hows the ankle now hun? Much better I hope xxx

Sadie... it really is nice to see you back you know. Dr Ripley may well be your hubby in discguise but then there are quite a few men out there in this world with that physique LOL

Hoping to have the Popcorn Romance CD in my hand today so if it arrives may have a play with that later!

Oh don't envy you that job Jan, I've not seen many people who have been suffering from depression keeping their paperwork in order, I know I don't when I'm down ... I leave it in a pile to sort out when I'm feeling better he he. So glad that she is improving little by little Smile

Hugs to all, I'll pop back later when I've sorted out the paperwork and shopping that I have to do today Smile

What a meanie Mike, to show you the Promarkers on the webcam Jan lol! as if you're not suffering enough. Bet he is really missing you though Very Happy I hate paperwork so wouldn't like to have to go through someone elses as I don't even understand what we have - it's awful really, no-one would believe I used to be a secretary Laughing Laughing I just act ignorant and Martin deals with it lol!

Hope you find more improvement with Jayne today, hugs to you both Very Happy

Glad to hear Jayne improving more. Don't envy you going through her paperwork though Jan. I remember only too well having to do my sister's.

Lou hope you feeling better now you've had your needle! Enjoy your CD .

Jane sounds as if you're having a wonderful time out there.

Sorry to hear about your hubby Cally. Hope he can get the treatment he needs.

Off now to have a facial - part of my birthday pressie from Roy. Never had one before so looking forward to a bit of pampering as didn't have too good a weekend. Eldest son rang to say he and his girlfriend are splitting up after being together over 10 years. They had a hiccup last year but thought they had sorted it. At least they had no children.

Glad to hear you sounding bit more upbeat Jan
Like Jacky I would not know where to start with ours nowadays never mind anyone else's
Hope the good news continues at the hospital
Sorry haven't been on earlier, got Alan to bring laptop up so I could see if there was any news
Another bad day, afraid I am having to fight my own health issues lately, though thank the good Lord, it is nothing nearly as serious as Jayne's
Wil love you and leave you all and hope all is good with everyone
