Morning ladies.

Had a good nights sleep. It always seems extra quiet on a Monday morning here after I have had company for the week end, even quieter than last night.

Charity shop for me this morning, then I might do a bit of ironing, there again I might not Smile It looks like it was really cold overnight, windows on car all covered over. Think I am going to start putting it into the garage overnight, if there is one thing I don't like and its having to clean the windows before I can get going.av

Hope you all have a good day

Good morning Marion and all who follow Very Happy cold here this morning. Going to warm up shampooing the large rug in the lounge today, really didn't feel like doing it yesterday Smile

Enjoy your day at the shop Marion, at least its company. No chance of us getting the car in the garage. The motor bike has priority, the Bongo next undercover and the poor car left out in the elements.

Good morning Marion, Jacky and all who follow,

Lovely sunny crisp autumnal day here again..... had to put the heating on for half hour at 6.30am as I would never have got the kids to relinquish their duvets!! lol!

Hope you have a good day at the shop Marion. Hope you had a nice weekend.

Good morning Jacky, hangover worn off then if you are facing the rug today!!!

I am going to check the bank balance affraid as we are running very tight this month as the DLA are dragging their heels re-assessing my DLA and it should have been paid over 2 weeks ago....and its a fair chunk out of the monthly budget...especially with 2 kids birthdays coming up, let alone christmas Sad

I sent them the paperwork 3 months in advance of the expiry date too..... first they sent a letter to my GP, who replied and said they don't see me about the back or the RA, then they sent a letter to the bloke who did that xray epidural thingy as he (at the time) was the latest consultant I had seen...didn't matter at the time that I had only ever seen him once (when he was shoving 18 needles in my lower back and bum) so he wrote back and said he doesn't really qualify to give a report so then they have finally got with the program and sent a request to Dr Menon! Hurrah!!! So we are just now waiting for cogs to grind and peeps to dot the t's and cross the i's LOL..... and then they'll probably decide they wanna start all over again! Ho hum, all the while we are absolutely brassic with the most expensive time of year hotfooting it straight towards us Sad

Oh god I'm moaning again, someone shoot me Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Morning Marion, Jacky, Lou and all who follow. It's cold here this morning but at least I didn't have to get the kids up because it's half term. Just to let you all know i wont be on here at the end of the week as I am going down to see Mum in hospital and to keep Dad company for a few days. When Mum went into hospital the Doctor said it looked liked she was having a reaction to the morphine tablets she was on. She has still been acting funny in hospital and we have just found out why (they have still been giving her morphine tablets Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad )

Marion have a good day at the shop

Jacky hope the rug come up nice and clean

Lou I hope the DLA sort themselves out soon. It's no fun being withour some of your money.

Have a good day whatever you are doing Smile

We had troubles with our Polish neighbours again last night, they are sooooo inconsiderate! They were decorating…hammering…scraping and sawing in their lounge at 9.15pm last night and Emily was having trouble trying to get to sleep so Ady went and knocked on the door to ask them to stop and do the decorating during the daytime. The polish bloke gave him a right gobful and said he had looked it up online and he was ALLOWED to do things like this till 11pm at night…… well that was like a red rag to a bull, it is not often that Ady loses his rag with someone but soon the conversation was much louder with a few naughty words thrown in…..!! Eventually the man said to Ady if we didn’t like it we should call the Police! Yeah right! Eventually after 5 minutes arguing the woman came to the door (who was the one sawing and scraping the walls) and said they would stop but she just needed 5 minutes to finish off. So Ady left it at that. There is no consideration on their part, they know we have school age kids. Poor Emily woke up with eyes like pee holes in the snow this morning.

So I have just spoken with the landladys sister now, she is gonna pay them a visit and follow it up with a letter. She is very good and luckily her sis still owns the place. She has kids herself so could understand why I was annoyed and she said its not acceptable, she says she doesn't care about 'what they have read online' they have to behave or they will be asked to move on. She was also very interested as to why they would be sawing, scraping and hammering when they are not allowed to decorate in the house on the tenancy agreement! Oooops shame, may have dropped them in it!! lol!

Morning!

Brrr... its a bit nippy out! Having to close the door now in the mornings when Bailey is let out.
She has been re-arranging the garden this morning... sort of.... pampas grass all over... looks effective, I think! Its sharp that stuff, obviously not done anything to her mouth. We have a shoe scrapy thing in the shape of a hedgehog... needless to say now, it bristleless!
DLA are a law unto themselves arent they Lou! Keith was advised by the Social Worker to apply for it, going through the process of it now... Specialists at the hospitals Keith goes to have all said they doubt he will work again, must admit he has tried going back to work on a part time basis... but just cant do it - just 3 half days put him in bed for the weekends. He applied back in August, we got a letter the other day saying he wasnt entitled to it - listed were things that they questioned - all of what they mentioned was wrong. Keith phoned them and they are looking at it again. Amazing how quick they stopped the Carer's allowance when Mum went into the Care Home... phoned on the Monday and it was stopped that day Rolling Eyes
Keith must be lucky with his morphine tablets... he is still on them two and half years since his accident. The Dr wanted to reduce them, which they tried, but obviously the pain increased and they gave nothing to replace them. So now the pain specialist has suggested he stay at the dose he is on.
Not doing much today, was going to collect tablets... but Amy is going up the village for me.
Enjoy your day x

Lexie, I have scoured FB to find pictures of your boob but couldn't see it lol! Frances, is your mum in Frimley Park as you are quite welcome to park outside our house to save on parking and the delay in getting into the hospital in the queues. I can quite believe the hospital is still giving tablets - pity your Mum isn't like Sally. When the Consultant said her antibiotics were affecting her so she came off them but when her temperature went up slightly another doctor said he may have to give them to her again - she refused pointblank and said she would lock herself in the loo if they tried to give them to her without speaking to her Consultant first lol! There was no messing with her.

The rug came up lovely - no more black marks on it. Cleaned all the laminate floors too so no more gungy spots on them.

I think my Mum must be a fruitloop too. Apparently she has a picture in her room of flowers. She keeps telling my Dad they are moving around and pulling faces at her

Jacky thank you for the offer. I might take you up on it Smile
