Good morning all. Things are starting to get back to normal again, decorations came down yesterday, we usually leave them up a bit longer but decided to have a clear up yesterday as the weather was so awful. Couldn't get to sleep last night. Watched the making of The War Horse on tv yesterday and was reading the book last night - in tears. Sally had the book for Christmas and gave it to me to read - half way through it now but it's not a good book to sleep on as I kept going over it in my mind.

Hope you have all enjoyed your holiday period and hugs to those who have needed them. I do hope Marion returns to us again Nice to see Pat on here again and hope your year is better this year. Don't think I could take another year like the last one. Glad to see the back of it.

I would love to go too, just don't like London. My sister is going on a coach trip from Cheltenham with her husband. He said he was in tears reading the book too as he had it for Christmas.

Its a beautiful morning here, nice and sunny with a lovely breeze that is hopefully going to dry my washing when I put it out!
Just done some ironing, could do with whipping the hoover around, but Keith didnt sleep too well and he is still in bed ...snoring!
Its nice getting back to 'normal', although the days are going to take a bit of getting used to ... it seems like a Tuesday to me

It is nearly Tuesday for us! Hopefully a cooler one than of late - down to 33 now and may get to 28 before morning!
Off to the cinema with the girls tomorrow (air conditioned - hooray) to see Alvin and the chipmunks - rest of the day in the pool I think!

Hope everyone has a fab 2012....must admit 2011 was a bit pants...but hey..onwards and upwards!

Ady has more hospital tests on the 6th Feb to see if they can fully diagnose this heart condition. Lets hope we get some answers then as its like living with a ticking bomb when you don't know what's exactly wrong.

Ben having car trouble too...Ady drove it yesterday and all of a sudden all the electrics bits buggered about. Fuel gauge, engine temp, speedo and battery light all went on and off and the steering became very heavy. Someones going to look at it tomorrow. Kwik fit tried but the car wouldn't let their comp do a full diagnostic. We know not altenator or battery so maybe loose wire by fuses. Car working fine at mo but don't know when it will go daft again so wanna know for sure.
