Another grey day here in North London.

Whats peoples plans for the weekend? Alan is taking me to a craft shop called S & D crafts in Ivor Buckinghamshire, this is a new one for me so I hope it's a good one, I really think I am addicted to craft shops, I get withdrawals during the week and have to have my fix at the weekend, even though there is nothing I need.

We have a party to go to tonight and then going to our friends for lunch tomorrow, my friend Joan has a grandaughter called Lacey she is three and so wonderful, she has a new phrase that she says if she has asked for some thing and been told no she then says "how about" and trys to bargin with you, it's so funny.

I always wanted a daughter but it never happend, so I tend to spoil Lacey as I love buying her clothes and toys.

Well must get ready for breakfast, have a great day what ever your doing.

I've no plans for the weekend either other than taking little Tashika for her booster and doing some food shopping. I have to take it easy for a few days as I was a naughty girl on Thursday he he.
Whilst looking after my granddaughters, we ended up in one of these adventure park type play area made from logs etc. The little one, 4 year old, was a bit nervous about the heights whilst the eldest was like a monkey leaping about, sliding down poles etc. So Pete stayed with the Keishia, while I tried to convince Des'ree there was nothing to worry about. The only way to do that was to go on there with her. Picture this an overweight 55 year old, mobility impaired woman climbing log frames, bridges etc he he. All went well until we came to the other end. She was so pleased with herself she said "Jump off like me Mimi" so of course I had to !!! I landed on my butt and somehow managed to wedge myself in a V shape under the bottom log so couldn't get up he he. Got a few people running to see if I was ok lol, but basically I whacked my lower back on the bottom log as I hit the floor so am a bit sore now. My punishment for being too adventurous is having to take it easy for a few days doh !! But it was fun at the time he he

It was hysterically funny, might have been able to at least try and un-wedge myself if I hadn't been laughing so much he he I'm fine now just had to agree to be a good girl after being so "adventerous" he he

hi all well not had a good weekend so far, my hubby has got shingles and is in quite a bit of pain, right in the middle of his back, all i can do is keep putting the cammomile lotion on for him, so am off now to make some cards becasue there is nothing elsie to do have a good afternoon all.

Sorry to hear about your husband, I had it slightly some years ago, but I still get the occasional pain in the same place. Aciclovir is the treatment. Don't know if you can get it over the counter. My daughter had a bone marrow transplant so she had to have it as a preventative and when I got shingles the doctor gave it to me and it cleared up in a few days.

Hope he's feeling better soon - he must be very uncomfortable. Keep up the good work Cally and enjoy your card making.
