Sorry you've been poorlie Andrea but glad the family have 'spoilt' you for Mother's Day. My daughter sent a message appologising for the lack of card which she bought last may but forgot to post. I don't expect to get anything from Iain but he may call. My husband bought me some lovely roses yesterday and chocolates are off the menu at the moment.

Been on the webcam for half an hour chatting to Karen and the girls and hearing all about their holiday in Queensland. They have been to a birthday paty today and are stuffed with cake, have lots of pressies in a goodie bag and are now ready for bed. A warm 24 and its after 7.00pm there. At least we have finally got into double figures here.

Off to Tattenham Corner to watch the Pioneer run. Those old motor bikes are amazing but some of them hardly get past the end of our road as there is a steep hill before they come to the Brighton Road - noisy too.

Morning ladies and Happy Mothering Sunday for all Smile

Shame you felt so rough yesterday Andrea but its good that you are well enough today to enjoy the spoiling you are going to get during the day:)

Celie has arrived in Wales safely and is currently enjoying the beautiful sunshine that we have today Smile Hope the weather stays like this while she is down as it will mean good weather for Janet on her holiday and for me on mine he he.

Hope all the poorlies are feeling a tad better and should you be feeling like doing the old h*******k, please check out he Aldi website, games section before you do. There are 3 free games there and one is so addictive it will make sure that you don't do the dirty deed at all he he Smile

Hugs and have a great day today ladies Smile

Good morning and happy Mothering Sunday Andrea, Karen, Jane, Jen and all who follow Very Happy Beautiful sunny day here this morning. Sally, Ian & Ruth were going to take me to Wisley today but unfortunately Sals loss of voice has turned into a nasty cold so she doesnt feel like walking around and Ian & Ruth have to be back early to go to Ruth's parents for dinner so they are all coming over about 11.00 and making me brunch Very Happy Sally had college yesterday too, there was no train to Reading just a bus link so she was half an hour late and she was feeling really grotty all the time she was there but as there are only 4 classes that she has to go to for her next exam, she didnt want to miss it Rolling Eyes She had a very early night so hope she is feeling better this morning.

Sounds like you are all being spoilt, so have a good day, better go phone my mum now Very Happy

Walked down to Tattenham Corner to see the bikes leave for Brighton - lots of atmosphere and great fun. Razz Went on to church for special family service. Laughing Got a bit tearful when all the daffs were given out by the children Sad - I didn't get any, my son forgot Mad - surprise, surprise! and Karen is the other side of the world. Sad 'Scuse me while I have a few moments feeling sorry for myself - I'll get over it. Embarassed

Now watching the Grand Prix on line while Clive catches up with the footie. Smile I've put some gammon in the oven for a late lunch and will prepare the veggies later. Smile At least the sun is shining! sunny

Had a lovely time with the family. They did fresh fruit, croissants, french bread, sausages, bacon and scrambled egg and it was all delicious Very Happy I also had 2 cards Rolling Eyes (they tend to forget I like the cards Laughing ) and a huge bunch of tulips as I don't seem to react to those Very Happy Have had a very relaxing day and watched a bit of QVC and just thought I would pop on and see what everyone was doing. Janet have fun with your friend and all the goodies Very Happy

Sorry to hear about your sisters daughter Ellen, that must be so hard to not know what has happened, hugs to you and her Very Happy Hope you found your lambs Jan Very Happy I don't blame you for feeling sorry for yourself Jane Sad but if it wasn't for Ruth I probably wouldn't get anything from Ian either Laughing

Thats good Jane, hope your Mum gets on ok with the carers Karen Very Happy my neighbours mum has some carers and she says they are brilliant and have so much patient whereas she would lose her temper with her mum as she can be quite cantankerous Laughing
