Bright and sunny start to the day here, lets see how long it lasts
Made my first roast dinner in ages and seemed to go down very well, my yorkies were enormous, glad to see I still got it
Not sure what we are doing today, havent had breakfast yet got to finish Country Life farm before going anywhere

Well the weather here is a typical Bank Holiday Monday Cold, wet and miserable!
No plans for today - apart from the ironing, that is a must do job. The pile is starting to resemble Ben Nevis!! And whats more the washing basket is full - AGAIN !!!

Rather overcast here in Portsmouth, but as yet not raining. Have to go into town for some things in a minute but
it will be a short visit as my patience doesn't last too long down there. Apart from food I do most of my shopping online
nowadays.

Glad to hear Dulcie's Baptism went well yesterday Lexie, it must have been a lovely occasion for the family.

I enjoyed the Craft Fair yesterday, it was only a small one, but my flower punch lady was there and she gave me a quick reminder lesson on how to make the roses as being it was so long ago & my first ever flower I had forgotten some of the method.

Hope you are all ok and had a lovely easter.....

I went out on my scooter for the first time on Saturday (after being stuck in except for school un for the whole week with Georgia... went round my mums then came back and cooked a roast as we were off out yesterday...

Went to Bird World yesterday..... it was good... but not worth the £14 each it cost to get in ... they have 3 price tiers for kids aswell.... my kids cost £12 each ! And it was only to see some birds & farm animals ! Ridiculous! It was a long walk round and I am suffering a bit today coz my pride meant I didn't wanna use the wheelchair!

Then we went to Oakhanger and had a picnic.... my dad took his portagas stove and cooked up sausages and bacon and it was lovely!

Glad to hear Dulcie's baptism went well Lexie x Hope the champagne went down well too! Hehe!

Sorry Birdworld cost so much. Went there years ago and it was a bit of a rip-off then but the kids were small and thought it was great. Hope the aches and pains don't last too long Lou.

Ironing................. don't overdo it Karen. Just put a load in the maching butIi tend to finish it of in the dryer and fold while warm. With no shirts to iron and the summer skirts still at the back of the wardrobe, I rarely get the board out these days.

Had a text from Jacky yesterday.... they did 21 locks in one day!!! I think she is enjoying it... she certainly knows how to do it.... they moor up by a pub every evening she says!! She wasn't keen when the weather was bad as she got cabin fever being stuck on the boat!

Hii Girls , have'nt had time to get on this morning , washing , ironing , DUSTING , and generally having a good sort out , nice to see our bedroom look neat and tidy! just got the craftroom to sort out !!!! Have a good day everyone ! xx

Had ahuge sort out in craftroom , boy oh boy do I feel good .... off to have a play and make a mess .... looks like Aliens have moved in and tidied up , not my room at all !!!! xxx

Thanks Lexie we are enjoying it , we cannot believe the weather its sooo hot. We have been to Central park today and kicked a ball around , was going to go into The national history museum but hubby wanted to wait till he took his big camera Going to times square tomorrow Wednesday
