Morning...

Another sunny day for us - no plans for me though, conserving my energy for tomorrow - shopping expedition with Amy!
Got a bit of ironing to do, and thats about it for me.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter break.

Good morning ladies.

Karen, you and me both re. the ironing, I don't have a lot to do, but I will never do any more washing until the previous ironing is finished:)

Nothing planned for me today, just the ironing, lol I need today to get over spending yesterday afternoon with MIL !!!

Hope you all have a good day

I used to be like that too but now I don't do ironing at all Laughing Laughing

Good morning all Very Happy another beautiful day. Martin has gone on his motorbike up to Bicester to see his sister, mainly for the ride with a friend so I have got the morning to myself Very Happy Had a quick tidy round, now got to decide what to do for the rest of the day. The trouble with the sun is it shows up the dust Very Happy

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing, and Karen enjoy your shopping trip with Amy - make the most of it while you can. I never seem to spend much time with Sally as she is always on the go.

A couple of photos I took this morning of the garden, still a couple of things to get rid of like the plank which belongs to our neighbour which he let us borrow to walk on the turf while it settled. He has been away but is back today so we can get rid of it.

and a few photos taken of the bluebell wood at Kingston Lacy

What a gorgeous garden you have Jacky, would you fancy coming and sorting mine out now please? there is no hurry though, get your Anniversary card made first lol

The ironing didn't take long, then my neighbour called me round for coffee. My neighbour is a retired lady vicar, but she says she does it now and again to keep her hand in Very Happy She is a smashing neighbour though.

I then sorted out some papers that have needed filing, and I am now sitting here making a card with an image my friend stamped out for me on Saturday when she came around.
Will put it in the gallery as soon as its finished, just wish I could colour like some people do.

lol! It wasn't like that before Marion. Martin decided he wanted a bigger patio so I said he had to get someone in to do it properly and then things snowballed. I decided that I would like some raised beds at the end of the patio as it would be easier on the back now we are getting older. The landscape gardener was recommended by a friend who had used him to do his patio and when he came and started talking we asked how much extra to re-turf the lawn. Our dog is a \'girl doggy\' and she always used the same place so the grass had just disappeared in one place. The greenhouse was hardly used now as I buy bedding plants instead of growing from seed so we had that taken away too and the base taken up, so the garden look enormous now and Molly isn't allowed to use it as a toilet any more. We have a field behind us so she is marched outside when she goes out the back door so that she has relieved herself. The lilac tree at the end of the garden was a little stick my Dad took off theirs from their garden and he rooted it and gave it to me many years ago. This is the first time I have actually been happy with the garden apart from Martin's pond which I am going to get him to sort out to tidy it up.

Have made the card, will take a photo and put it on here later. Just from a cd I bought at the Make It Show in February Very Happy
