Morning....

Well after all the rain we had yesterday, its a lot cooler this morning - the sun is shining, and its pleasant out.
Not much on the agenda for me today. Have been down to mum's with tablets, she isnt too bad today.

Back from the hospital - not nice examination! May have to have a further exam under a 5 min anaesthetic before they decide what to do. I'll definately need major surgery, not the 'quickie' that lexie had! Big abdominal opp involving Urology and Colo/rectal surgeons +++. At least 4 days in hospital and min 6 week recovery time! Hope I get it done this year with time to recover before next trip to Oz.

Tempted to look it up on Google but rather squeamish and a little scared at the moment. Need a large drink but too early, even for me.

Hope everyone else is having a better day. I hate Mondays. Enjoyed yesterday though (our Ruby Wedding Anniversary) and the Derby weekend went OK

Had a hectic day so far, my kids are still off (inset day today) so will be very glad to boot em back to school tomoz and get on with a few things... the house is a state....

Good morning Karen, Jane and all who follow, my god some Ba****d has been using my credit card . Ive tried to get on to my online banking today and its coming up with incorrect detains, so ive got on to my bank and gone through security then he realed of some things i had bought then three more ive never heard of ond was for dating which luckily they had all been declined one was for wait for it £700 ponds for sainsburys . im am totally upset. They have blocked my card and are sending a new one out which will be here by the end of the week. Enjoy your chill day Karen and Jane hope all goes well if you have the op, off for a stiff drink now i need one after that Morning Lou you snuck in there.

Lots of prayers for poppytree. I hope everything goes well and that it happens sooner rather than later. Don't google it, you will find out lots of things that you don't really want to know and maybe some that don't apply to you. Sometimes 'ignorance is bliss'.

For Andrea, I'm surprised that the Credit card company didn't pick up on the unusual use of your card. Both mine and my daughters did and rang us up to check after they declined the amounts. They told us what had gone through and what they had declined. Hope it all gets sorted soon.

Hi Barbara they have done in the past but it was me spending, but not a word this time he did apologise. Hubby is going to take me into my bank has i want to know if i can look at my recent activity if theres anything else they have got away with.

First day back at work after a week in Cornwall with the godkids, finding it hard to get motivated I have
to say. We have one member of the admin team causing problems at present as well so that adds to the
issues here.
Holiday was good though, kids only forced me to go up on stage once to be a Town Crier so that was a bonus,
been stitched up to do all sorts in the past. The Godson won the Disco Dancing competition and so has a free
weekend in Ilfracoombe in Nov for the Semi finals and final. We have convinced his Mum and her partner to take him to that (didn't fancy a caravan in Nov!).

Jane hope you get your op sooner rather than later and I agree with all who said don't look it up on internet.
Andrea hope you get your card sorted - mine quite often phones to check on purchases - usually when I've used it to pat for something son is buying as he hasn't got a card and I suppose it is not my usual sort of purchase.
Jen hope your wound improves and you keep resting. Lou the cottage looks gorgeous. Just watched Jane's slideshow as well and holiday looks fab but not sure about the cruising bit - doesn't really appeal to me.
Lexie hope you get social services to sort something for Dulcie - they didn't impress me one bit when I had to deal with them for Mum. In fact they were a complete waste of time.

Complete waste of time and effort but got afew people above the people I should of been speaking to ... so it made me feel a bit better now got some letters to write to back up what I've spoken about as they always deny speaking to you ... I am getting the hang of this now if I don't I 'll be a permant resident of the local looney bin !

Social Services... they are full of talk when you first deal with them - full of promises. Weeks ago a lady came out to see myself and Keith over Mum.. we asked if we could get help with her garden, its not a big garden but there are some long hedges and they need attention. She promised that she would look into the matter... I am still waiting to hear.
Its all well and good but as time goes on, the garden is getting more like a jungle. Keith cant tackle it, if I have a go, I know Mum will come out and try and help... but then I spend my time watching and checking on her. We have the council coming out tomorrow to fix the ceiling that they made a mess of when doing the kitchen.
Will have to try and sort something out soon.

Cor blimey... am gonna be busy... better get some more blow up matresses to pad the walls LOL!
