Morning...

It was dull and overcast when I got up... but the sun is trying to peep through and it does feel warm out.
usual Sunday stuff for me today - going to pick some blackberries when I go to Mum's with her tablets. Picked some last week and thought that would be it, but Mum had some friends to see her yesterday and they commented on how big the blackberries were... just hope the birds havent had them for breakfast!

Just caught up on all the posts. Came home yesterday as we were fed up sitting in the van with the rain pouring down. Phoned Ian and he told us it was going to be heavy rain at 10, 1, and 4 to decided to pack it all up and come home. At 2 mins to 10 I told Martin he had 2 mins to get the awning down before the downpour and exactly 1 min past 10 we felt a few spots. That was it, the clouds cleared and the sun came out, everyone came out of their vans and people were coming over chatting, everything was packed up apart from the awning and Martin was kept busy chatting. The awning dried in the sun and Martin was worried that the rain would start again before he got it packed away. It was 2.30 before he managed to get it away and it only takes about 10 mins On the way home we drove through some tremendous downpours - just waiting for our neighbours (who were on another rally in the same site in their caravan) to come home on Tuesday and tell us that not a drop of rain fell after we left My sister and her husband came for a visit today, so we went round to Ian & Ruth's so that they could meet Callie, she is growing bigger by the minute.

Sorry to here you are having trouble again Jen hope the antibiotics clear it. Good luck to Jane and Juli on their hospital visits. Hugs to those who need one

Welcome back Jacky - shame about the weather!

Hello everyone , welcome back Jacky , well when we woke up it was very cloudy..so we decided to go out an about , so we rang my friend at Horam , and we went down to vist them and had a lovely lunch, and they loved the little album I did for them ,We did'nt get down to the coast but had a lovely time !
Dulcie is sill having a great time despite the rain ! She rang at 7.30 this morning ! woke me up to tell me to ring her dad to get him to ring her...
Work tomorrow and a couple of days next week. I've got loads of stuff to do for the craft and need to make a load of stuff but Iam sure I'll get it all done , had'nt planned on working so much but the money will be useful !Trouble is you can't buy time .....

iCamping ! In Norfolk 15thou young people from Church and all over the country, having a brill time ! Its been soooo peaceful here ! we are missing her though !

Ahhh, that's what all the noise was we thought it was the traffic going past. Hope she is enjoying it and the weather has improved since we came home.

The weather does not seem to have bothered hem one bit ! except on tuesday I'll have washing machine on non stop even the clean stuff ends up getting washed ! you had rotton weather shame , still its ment to improve again !

Welcome back Jacky, shame its cos the weather was so lousy. It seems to have changed for the better here and the sun came to visit again, so Pete and I went to sit down by the sea like a pair of old foggies, couldn't do much else at the moment but at least I got some sun and sea air he he
