Can't believe that no-one has posted anything today. It's been lovely here today, Sally was doing a triathalon at Hawley Lake today, we had to get there for 8.45 a.m Teams of 3 - running first, then cycling, kayaking, cycling and running again. Unfortunately the 2 men Sally was doing it with opted out, 1 left the company and the other had an accident and broke a couple of ribs, so the other Company team had 1 who opted out too so Sally went with them. She had trained quite hard for it and one of the men had done marathons and triathalons before, the other one had done no training whatsoever and only bought his bike yesterday affraid Needless to say they were lagging behind after the first run, not quite last about 4 other teams behind them, but after the second cycling stint the guy couldn't go on any more - so didn't do the last run. It took them 2 hours to ride 7 miles. We did a 7 mile walk when someone miscalculated the route once and it only took us 2hours 20 mins Laughing Sally was so frustrated, she rode on ahead and then stopped to wait for them as one couldn't get up the hills and the older fitter man was on his son's bike and he didn't like going down the hills fast. Sally has been training with Ian and a load of mountain bikers through the woods so was quite happy about it. Shame though, as she isn't one to give up but she knew she could finish the run as she wasn't tired just cold where she hadn't used much energy. Saying that, 2 teams came in after them and went out for the last run but the unfit guy said he couldn't run any more as his knee had gone.

Well I hope everyone is well and that's not the reason you haven't been on today. Hugs to those who need one

It was only Sally who did the triathalon, Ian just trained her for cycling and her ex-boyfriend, Greg, trained her for running.
