Flaming Friday/Stupid Saturday

Things got off to a bad start when the car conked out with a flat battery way out in the country. Luckily I had a mobile and after walking to higherground managed to call my SIL and he came to rescue us with a new one. The day improved after that and we're now relaxing at home bowling on the Wii after a swim

What bad luck you had with the car but at least you were able to get some help

Josh and Kayleigh have both have horrible coughs and sniffles and because Kayleigh coughs so much she keeps having nose bleeds too.
Michaela has gone off to orchestra and Kayleigh has street dancing in a bit then we will come home and not leave the house until Monday morning when it's time for school.

Good morning Jane, Frances and all who follow I am so cold this morning my hands wont work. Shame about the car Jane, glad you managed to get a signal Hope the coughs and sniffles soon go away Frances, mine seems to have come back again last night. Maybe going out 2 days in a row was just too much and it was so cold when we went to the funeral and afterwards to the Gliding field in the clubhouse which wasn't at all warm. Yesterday was good though and ended up getting very warm but don't think I had enough to drink all day for 2 days so will make up for it today.

Stay warm and hope you all enjoy your weekend. Hope Lou is ok too now she is home.

Just a quick post today as busy getting washing done before we go away on Monday. Hope all the colds etc improve while I'm away. In case i don't manage to get on again I'll see you all in just over a week. Glad you had a good time at Sandown Jacky. I haven't been for a couple of years now.
