Tuesday
Good morning all, another lovely morning here again this morning. Got the washing to do after the weekend, have just stripped the bed and it's in the machine Waiting for the screening to come this morning so that Martin can get that up and cut the front lawn. Can't believe how much the new turf in the back garden has grown over the weekend Should have asked for very slow growing lawn but saying that the front lawn doesn't grow very quickly usually but it has shot up over the weekend too.
Enjoy your day - hope you manage to get out in this lovely weather

Re: Tuesday
Good morning all.
Jacky, it sounds as if you are both goig to be busy today, but at least you have some good weather to do it in. Once the sun comes out and on the lawns its amazing how quickly they grow.
I have to get a prescription from the surgery this morning, then have an appointment with the solicitor, but this afternoon I am hoping to get into the garden and tidy it up a bit. John was the gardener, so I never had to touch it, but think I am going to have to start learning.
Hope everyone has a nice day

Awww, quite understand all that Lou hugs back to you too. Marion, I was always the gardener but Martin has taken over a bit more since he retired. He does the heavy jobs and I do the weeding (or I wouldn't have any plants left) My dad loved his gardening and had 5 allotments while I was growing up. He would take us all down there out of Mum's way, especially in the holidays, and we had such fun and it's amazing how much we learned from him without realising it. He had a bike with a huge basket on the front which he would take us in when there was just a couple of us going (I am one of 5). I will look out the photo of it.
Found it and just look at that pram. I am the one sat on the basket with my neighbour and my older sister is on the saddle.

Re: Tuesday
Last night we had dinner on Viewing deck one of the Spinnaker Tower in celebration of winning a bid at work.
It was a lovely clear night and great to see the sun setting and all the towns lights come on, attached are a few photos to show you

Re: Tuesday
Thanks Janet We lived opposite a factory but you never saw cars going in and out, just people walking or cycling. We would play ball games and skipping in the road without any worry. There was 2 adults and 5 children in a 2 bedroomed terrace house until I was 9 when we moved to a massive house (well it was to us, got lost in the house when we went to view it)
Lovely photos Pat, but I wouldn't have liked to have taken them
