Morning ladies.

Here's something to think about, 2 months today it will be Christmas day

Daughter and grandson arrived yesterday, think we are going out later this morning, don't know where to though.

The weather doesn't look very promising. Whenever my daughter comes at a week end we always seem to have good weather, but have just told her she has messed with good weather with her coming during the week

It was raining here earlier on.... quite heavy as well. Stopped now, and I can see blue sky looming!
Off into town this morning with AMy, she is going to the dentist. Will call into Asda to pick up the fruit for Christmas cake. Then down to see mum later on.

Once Halloween is over I'll bet all the shops will be full of Christmas things if they aren't already. A few baubles in K-Mart and David John has 3 decorated trees inside but otherwise it still seems a long way away. Don't think its quite so commercial here.

Good (whoops) afternoon ladies - have had a lazy morning, went to pick up my new glasses - just for the computer as my varifocals made it difficult to look at the screen and I think that is why I have had so much trouble with my neck recently. I had to lift my head up and look through the bottom. Had my eyes tested and didn't need new glasses so told them about it and they suggested these. I must say it is so nice. Martin has been at golf this morning and as soon as I come up here he has arrived home

Glad you have company for a few days Marion - we had rain overnight but it had stopped when Martin got up at 6.30 and the sun has been out all morning. When I went into Frimley, I had trouble getting out at the roundabout by the hospital so thought I would go round the roundabout and back home - there is a separate lane so I could miss the queue. As I went round I saw blue flashing lights up the road. When I came home again there was a burnt out car in the layby by the hospital and I had noticed a fire engine in the High Street refilling.
