Good morning ladies.

I just realised, after seeing all those pictures of cakes and flowers, that I never posted yesterday!
I was at the charity shop from 9-5. I enjoyed it but with the standing I came home with a bit of a backache, so just sat and did nothing last night. I am fine though this morning, and am hoping to give the house a good clean today, then can sit down tonight with my feet up and know its all nice and clean.

Morning Marion and all who follow. Glad you'r back's eased Marion - standing can be a killer! A bit grey here today. I'm off up to my son's later this morning to see if we can fix his settee. It needs a new bit of webbing. We've got all the bits just need to be able to get at it!

Its sunny here one minute and clouded over the next, there is a real chilly wind so I had a jumper and a coat on for the school run this morning.

Ady was well chuffed with my cake efforts and he hass taken them all into work this morning to get them out of my kitchen... was a nightmare trying to make tea last night with cakes spread all around the place. And when Emily came in from school I had to have eyes in the back of my head to make sure she didn't help herself!!

Hope everybody is well, hugs for any poorlies or anyone who just wants a hug.

Good morning Marion, Sue and all who follow Had a lazy morning so far this morning - still in my dressing gown and about to go in the shower Didn't sleep very well last night, just couldn't get comfortable. When I started working in the shop Marion, my friend called in near the end of the day and asked how my legs were. They were fine as I was used to standing and leaning over small tables for hours when I worked at the pre-school. I got home, sat and had a cuppa, and couldn't get up again. My legs had just seized up I had to stagger around to get them working again. Soon got used to it though. Glad you are enjoying it.

We have just had an invite from friends who are having a wedding BBQ tomorrow - going there any time from 8.00 am and the BBQ is going to be cooked at 1.00. Looking forward to it.

I can't stand much anymore either.... since my nerves got damaged.... used to stand all day long when I worked at the Bank! Not no more tho! We are all just a load of crocks really aren't we??

Sorry didn't see your post earlier Lou, had a phone call in the middle of typing with the invitation to the BBQ. I should think Ady was pleased with your efforts - they were really great. Well I have made up for the lazy morning, had a good sort out, dust and hoovering the bedroom and the landing - leaving the stairs for Martin to do as I can no longer carry the hoover down without my back hurting. Forgot to say I had a phone call yesterday to say my scan for next Tuesday has been postponed until Friday now as the consultant isn't in

Just realised I haven't posted my ATCs to Lexie, so will pop down to the PO and post them off before the post goes Hope the repairing of the settee went ok Sue. We have had a phone call to say our new garden furniture will be delivered on Monday even though it's a Bank Holiday

Jacky, my legs don't seem to ache, its just across my back just up from my waist, but its fine today thank you.
I have two hoovers, one up and one down lol makes work a lot easier

Got all my house cleaned and shining now. That will last for another few weeks lol

Managed to get the settee mended so now he's not sitting in a hole! Also finally (after 2 years) got round to shortening the new curtains for my craft room and put them up! I'm feeling quite angelic now.

Lovely to see you back on here Jan! Hope you're going to stay!

I have some lounge curtains I shorted a month ago, and they are still waiting to go up

My you have been busy Sue I still have that pair of walking trousers to shorten that I bought last Summer and two pairs of trousers to mend the seam on. They are summer ones too so have sat in the cupboard, about time I sorted out my sewing machine again
