Morning girls.

Well it rained here during the night, its not very bright today but its not cold.

I am hoping to finish giving the kitchen its spring clean today, I just wish things wouldn't take so much time when you get older, have known the days when it would have been done from top to bottom in a day !

Bet your day is a bit more exciting than mine Smile

Morning Marion.. bet you are looking forward to them windows!!!
We have had rain in the night, in fact it woke me up.
Sun is shining now, and there is a nice breeze.
Not much to do today, cooked the meat yesterday in my slow cooker - it has shrunk a bit, but there is plenty for today.
Have a nice day xx

I'm back Very Happy Good afternoon to you all, I have been keeping an eye on you via my phone though. Had a lovely couple of days away - only 2 junctions down the M3. Martin drove us there and then was persuaded to go back and get his motor bike so they could all go for a ride on the Saturday. Someone gave him a lift home so he could get it. Friday night the heavens opened, a bit of rumbling around but no flashes (that I saw) but torrential rain. Drizzling a bit first thing Saturday so they decided not to go for a ride but it was warm and when the rain stopped felt a bit muggy. When we came out of the pub on Saturday night it was pouring again, and by the time we were tucked up in the van it was torrential all night. I kept thinking we would be in a foot of water the next morning Laughing It was still raining at 7.00 but by the time we got up at 8.00 the sun was out. We had breakfast and packed up all the things in the awning, by which time it had dried out so we could pack that away too. I was a bit nervous as I had to drive the Bongo home then as Martin was riding his bike and I have only ever driven it once (funnily enough to the same site) but I managed it.

Looks like we have had the rain here too, thank goodness, the lawn has had a good water while we were away. cheers cheers
Enjoy the rest of the day, I am off to have a cuppa now Very Happy

Brilliant Janet - I love my Houghie board, does make things easier - just have to remember to use it Embarassed I got the book on how to do it too, which is so handy.
