Good morning all.

Gosh, I thought someone would have posted before now, are you all having a lay in?
I had my grandson stop overnight with me last night, and now he is busy making his mum and dad a wedding anniversary card, he loves to get in my craft room.
Charity shop for me this afternoon instead of tomorrow, and as I had such a bad night coughing I am really hoping for a lay in in the morning.

Good morning Marion, sorry I have left you to start the post again. I didnt wake up until 9.00 this morning Cant remember the last time I did that. Had a lovely meal out with the family last night - unfortunately Sally's boyfriend is still feeling ill so didnt make it. Ian, Ruth & Sally all put together and bought me a Kindle for my birthday and gave it to me in the pub. The waiter cottoned on to the fact it was my birthday and when I ordered a creme brulee for dessert it came with 2 candles and him singing happy birthday It was very reasonable but we can't think that anything was missed off the bill, under £100 for all 5 of us - the wine was £15 and my dessert was free. They also gave us 10% off as early bird (our table was booked for 8.00 ) I had breakfast and then came on to register my Kindle - technology. Anyway, got there in the end and have downloaded a book I have been looking at for ages but haven't bought it before as I have so many books still to read which I have got from charity shops or been given. I gave my sisters a pile of books I have finished when they came at the weekend.

Beautiful day out there today and cant believe I have been sat on the computer for a couple of hours trying to sort it out. Martin has gone off to the dentist and taken his fold up bike with him as he is trying to find out the best way to get to a cycle track from the station as they are all going off one a long cycle ride on Saturday - Martin, Ian, Sally and Sally's landlady - Sally's boyfriend doesn't think he will be going after being off sick from work for the last couple of days, and Ruth & I are not cyclists
