Morning..

Bit of a yuk start to the day.. no rain, just a bit dismal looking.
Dentist for me later this morning. Managed to get a lot of snipping done, we gave a few bushes a hair cut, and as we no longer have a 6 weekly garden collection...it now has to go in the fortnightly collection - so have to cut everything up as small as we can - might have to invest in a shredder.
Went to see Mum yesterday and she was quite good. Lost her shoes...again! They have moved her to a downstairs room and she seems to like it, not the best of views...but where she was before, if she got up in the night and left her room...it was one long corridor with rooms either side, so a bit upsetting when she wasnt sure where to go - at least now, she can roam around in the Dayroom and TV room if she wanted.
Keith is booking tickets for his meeting in London. He is going down on Friday, stopping overnight and fingers crossed I will be going on the SAturday....so I shall be going to Ally Pally Got to run it by Amy first, she will be on her own all day with Bailey, and although she has calmed down (Bailey that is!) she can still be hard work - no doubt Amy will put her in the puppy pen if she gets too much.
Hope Jacky is feeling ok this morning... read on FB she was a bit tipsy!!

Good morning Karen, I have just woken up and Martin is sorting out the breakfast as I type. I am feeling fine thank you hope Michaela is too, poor girl. Hope that little kitten has found its way home now or someone will be upset.

Karen we will have to Exchange mobile numbers and have a meet up if you get to Ally Pally. I am sure Amy would cope for one day.

Morning Karen, Jacky and all who follow. woke up at 6.30 to thunder this morning but no rain then at 8.25 just as I was about to take the kids to school the lightning started then down came the rain. At least it's stopped now. Michaela seems a lot better this morning and the swelling around her ankle has gone down. The little kitten was attacking my front door for quite a while last night trying to get in but there is no sign of it now. Hopefully it will have gone home or found somehwere dry to go. I think if it comes back tonight I might put it in a box in the kitchen just to keep it warm and maybe call the RSPCA.

Back from the dentist... had a numb mouth for awhile - first time I have had to have an injection to have a scrape and polish It was a bit strange eating a sandwich when I got back!
Got a couple of pair of trousers and tops for Mum... trouble is they get a bit of a bashing in the washer/dryer at the Home - everything goes bobbly.
