Terrific Thursday
Morning all. A typical British Autumn day here - grey skies, intermittant rain, breezy but ................ 21 degrees and a bit muggy. Survey done and we are going ahead with the sale (exchange Monday) Been into the City to sort out some bank and tax details and have now applied for our Seniors Cards - once they arrive we'll get free trassport betweem 9.01 and 3.00pm + weekends and loads of discounts on other things.
Once this rush has died down we can relax a bit ...... nearly there now! Might try to book a craft class soon, I'm looking forward to catching up with the many friends I've made at Charlotte's Web. Have a great day whatever you are up to.

Re: Terrific Thursday
Good morning Jane and all who follow - a cold frosty morning here today - going to spend the day in my craft room. I have a birthday card to make and want to get the couple of November ones I have to do done too, then I can concentrate on Christmas. Will tidy away all birthday things and get all the Christmas things off the top shelf
Good news about your house Jane, you will soon be settled in and enjoying your life "down under"

Re: Terrific Thursday
Good morning ladies.
Jane, it must be so exciting for you doing all these new things.
Janet, I never seem to "spend time" making cards these days, they are made usually as I am going upstairs to bed
Quiet morning here, am going to the funeral this afternoon of the lady I went on holiday with in August to the Norfolk Coast. I aren't looking forward to it. I am just going to seeing how much I can cope with. The service is in the chapel which I haven't been in for about 20 years so I should be okay in there, but I don't know. But she is being buried in the same cemetery as John. And I went to have a chat with John yesterday and see that the procession will have to walk by Johns grave, and I just can't face that, so will really see how it goes.

Re: Terrific Thursday
Oh Marion, it is so hard for you - especially having to pass John's grave at another funeral. I hope you have someone else going with you to support you. Will be thinking of you this afternoon.
