Its Thursday here!

While most of you are tucked up in bed by now its the start of a new day here. Looks grey and dull outside but, at 9.30am, the temperature reads16.5 and is rising fast - looks like it could be a scorcher!

Going to pack a picnic and head for the beach for a few hours. Must pop into Bunnings or KMart on the way and look for a couple of folding chairs and a large umbrella to keep in the boot.

Janet, your day out sounds ideal. lol and I am just so glad we don't have the frost here that we had yesterday morning.

I am going to a craft workshop this morning at a friends house. She usually does them once a month but being as she is out of work at the moment she has started a fortnghtly one on a Thursday also. ssssshhhhhh, don't tell anyone, but as I am her friend she won't let me pay for today

Morning ladies. Wet here - Yuck! I really need to go to Basingstoke either today or tomorrow to buy DILs birthday present - a pandora charm. Might just do it this afternoon. Having a browse on here while I wait for a phone call and some glitter to dry - multi-tasking I really must get on with Christmas cards but not very inspired or Christmassy yet. Mind you thought it had come early last night. I was driving home from Roy's and thought I could see the Christmas lights on ahead of me - I could! Then realised they were still putting them up so presumably were testing them as well. Looked quite pretty and thank goodness they've bought new ones as last years were awful! Wonder what the tree will look like as again last year they would have been better not bothering!

How are we all this evening? Well I hope. Huge hugs for anyone under par. Have fun anyone who is off to a craft show this weekend (Jacky being one I know about) but there may well be others off to do likewise.

Had a dreadful week in rehab....back has been well and truly aggravated by a stupid idiot of a physio who pushed too hard and has done more harm than good. Anyway saw my proper consultant today and he says not to come back in next week as the damage needs time to calm down. He also said he is referring me to a neurosurgeon to see if they can offer me treatment for my back, maybe something to do with calming the nerve down or maybe another operation but not thee same as before. Am a bit nervous but will go for the appt and see what is said.
