Monday 14th November
Morning ladies.
Quite mild here this morning, so it was nice not to have to put the heat on before I went in the bathroom.
Charity shop for me again, then off to spend some Tesco vouchers that I had forgotten I had got!
Hope you all have a good day and hugs to anyone that needs them,
Marion

Re: Monday 14th November
Morning Marion and all who follow...
Its dull here, but perhaps not as cold. Doesnt look as if the sun will get out though.
Caught up on Strictly this morning, all this reality tv isnt good - also enjoyed watching Frozen Planet yesterday. Those little fluffy Polar Bears were so cute!
Not a lot doing here today, think I might have to look for some jobs ... they are there, but I shall build up some inspiration I think!!
Enjoy your day x

Re: Monday 14th November
I found inspiration!! It was hiding behind the Dyson and the ironing board... so now something inspirational has been done... I can do some cross stitch without feeling guilty!
Lou... get well soon to all of you xx

Re: Monday 14th November
Very late on here today - have had a busy time. Sorted out the spare bedroom as I had bought new curtains and bedding, had to take the blinds down which were being replaced - only the top runner of two of them. Cleaned the blinds and they came up a treat again. Sally appeared late morning after riding as she had the day off so got the lunch while she was in the shower and then we went out shopping. She left about 4.30 to go and tuck the pony up for the night and then had a bit of a break. Martin has gone to meet Sally and Richard now for some science talk, so have the evening to myself
My sister phoned at lunchtime to say that she has got a nurse coming in once a week to help Mum shower She says she goes in but the floor is never wet so as she had been in bed for a week and was going to the hospital both my sisters said they would help her. She said not to bother but they insisted as they knew for sure she hadn't had one and had been lying in bed all week. My sister told the Community Nurse what she was having to do as she called round to bring my BIL notes which he had left at the doctors and she said that she would get someone in to help, so this morning the district nurse phoned my sister and said would she be able to meet her there at 10.30. So it's all sorted (don't know for how long though).
My BIL had his operation yesterday - which went on for hours and he was in recovery for a long time too as they wanted to make sure he was stable. Turns out, the stent they put in originally had worn through the bowel so it was leaking into the cavity, causing him severe pain. Unfortunately they have had to take everything away Tonight she said he was now off the morphine and was on a soup, jelly and icecream diet.
I have been sat watching C & C on my computer as they were doing the Craft Artist and I learnt quite a bit from it so going to try it out now. There is so much to do on that programme.
Karen, glad to hear you got some of your cross stitch done Lou the cards are beautiful - lovely image.
