Good morning one and all,

What a wet day yesterday, I hope no one was flooded.

What did you all do yesterday? we went to Staines in Middlesex to takes some papers over to the lady who is taking over my voluntree job, she is really nice and I'm sure she will do well.

Today we are going to the craft fair in Stevenage called Stamperama I am hoping to get some more Christmas goodies. Then we need the garden centre for bird food, Alan feeds all the wild birds that come into our garden, the only trouble with this is all the cats in the area think mmmm lunch when the bird go on to the grass to pick up the feed that has fallen, we had a nest of Magpies a few weeks ago and one of the cats got an adult Magpie.

Do we have any up dates on Bev?

What are your plans for today? the weather for London is cloudy and windy, I hope it's better where you are.

Have a great day.

Shocked I cant believe it is already a week since you said you were starting your holiday Jayne. It has gone past sooooo quickly. My neighbour last summer had 20 magpies sat on her fence and a load more in the garden. I counted them from my bedroom window Laughing She used to put dog food out for the foxes but the magpies seemed to eat most of it. She has stopped doing it now as she found it was expensive as they also ate all the bird food and she wasnt getting any of the little birds as they came to my garden as the magpies frightened them away. The magpies seem to have mainly disappeared this year thank goodness. They used to wake us early in the morning by banging dog biscuits on our bedroom window sill Mad
