No more snow overnight here. I am going to the charity shop today, walking not driving though. And before you say it, yes I promise to be careful

It doesn't look all that bright outside this morning, maybe more snow?????

Good morning Marion and all who follow Bit foggy here at the moment but think its clearing. Enjoy your day at the shop Marion, at least its company there. Got a card to make for one of my great nephews so think I will try and think what I can do. I haven't seen him for a couple of years and don't really know what he is into apart from football which I always seem to do for him so think I will do something random this time.

Cold and crunchy out! The sun was out earlier, but its disappeared... so the washing has had to go in the dryer.
Want to hoover and do a bit of tidying up and then relax!
Amy got back last night, tired, cold and hungry - but they had a good time.

Good morning Karen - more awake now - I did the last posts laying in bed on my phone Dont know what is wrong with me I am usually up before 7.00.
Glad Amy had a lovely time in London - was it a special occasion. I won't be venturing out today although the road looks clear and everything is thawing quickly. So glad it didn't freeze overnight. Just wondering if Sally has gone into work as she has to go down lots of narrow country roads to get to work. She is able to work from home though Going to get my thinking cap on now and figure out these cards I have to do. I have 1 for a friend first, then my G.nephew, followed 2 days later by Ians & my neighbours - they are all within 5 days so will start now to give me plenty of time.

I am back home and thankfully no mishaps.
The main roads are now clear, the side roads are icy and slushy, and on my way to work I have to walk across a common, and it was still deep in snow there. So yes, still plenty of snow around.

We didn't get many in the shop at all this morning, but can't say I blame people for not going out in the snow.

Jacky... Amy went to London to meet up with a friend... he is going through a bad time, not enjoying Uni - so they met up, did a bit of shopping, chatting and just generally catching up. They enjoyed themselves, but back to reality now.

How nice of her to go all that way. It's very hard when you can't settle. Sallys friend Erica was terribly homesick when she started. She left after a few months then started again in Bournemouth the next year, finished her degree, and now jets off alone all over the world for work. I think she is an events manager.
