Rainy saturday !!!

Afternoon!

It was rainy here earlier on, but now beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Very cold out.
WE have been to collect new car this morning, Keith is really pleased with it, thought he would be sat out in it trying all the gadgets, but he hasnt... as yet! Its very comfy and a lot easier for him to get in and out of.
Going to have an easy afternoon, hope you enjoy yours xx

Good afternoon all, had trouble walking this morning by knees are really stiff and giving way. Got an appointment with the Dr. on Tuesday as I don't think I will be doing a 5 mile walk. I had only walked to see Callie yesterday - about 10/15 mins away and then home again about an hour later and my knees were hurting. This morning I could hardly move so didn't dare go back upstairs to the computer. I have walked around a bit this morning and seems to have eased off now but won't be doing too much.

A new car Karen - what colour that's what we ladies are supposed to ask isn't it. Nice here this afternoon, we had rain this morning. Martin has gone to the stables to sort out the weight of the horse box + horse (don't know how but he took the bathroom scales) Can just imagine Ebony on her hind legs standing on it Going to have a go at another card today - my BIL's.

I am back home and now hopefully will try and post a bit each day:) I have lost track of things while I was away but I had a smashing time at my daughters. Its the first time I have gone there by coach, but after going the wrong way at Victoria on the way there, I had it sussed out on the way back so when I go again I shan't worry.

Isn't it strange when you go away and come back. You enjoy yourself, you are pleased for the break and doing different things, but then you think its so nice to be home. Strange isn't it.

Glad you had a lovely time with your daughter Marion . Jacky , hope the knees are ok , Karen glad you like your new car what you got ???
me had a lovely play day making cards am doing a sale with a friend of mine so thought I'd better make some as the box was looking bit empty ! so had a nice time ....

Lexie... Keith has been looking for a new one for a while now... needed something he could get in and out of easier... so in the end went for a Peugeot 3008 (means nothing to me!) but its in a sparkly chocolatey colour... and is very nice!

Marion... nice to see you back again, pleased you had a good time!

Jacky... how is Callie? Hope your legs feel a bit better tomorrow

Callie was fine thanks Karen. Ruth had hold of her when she heard us open the door so that she wouldn't jump up and we went straight in and sat on the floor with her and just had cuddles. She didn't seem too bothered about her plaster and when Ian came in she jumped up on the settee next to him no bother. She was going back today to have it checked and Ruth said she would let me know how she got on. Haven't heard so I am presuming no news is good news.

Glad you had a good time with your daughter Marion. You were brave to go on your own and won't be so scary another time

Glad you have had a good crafting day Lexie. My leg has eased off a bit and hoping it will be ok tomorrow. Going out for dinner at the Golf Club with all the holding friends and their wives.
