Tuesday

Morning all - another cold rainy day here. Clive insisted I put the washing our before we went out for lunch with friends. I said wait till tomorrow but was over-ruled. Just got back to line of washing which was bone dry an hour ago but now dripping after a torrential downpour!!! I'm sulking and now have to put non-matching pillowcases on the bed which is so irritating. Nowhere to dry the stuff so it will just have to stay outside till the morning. Suppose I could bring a few things in and iron them dry but you know how much I enjoy ironing.

Planning an early night as we are getting up at 5.30am to go to a sunrise Anzac Day service at Brighton tomorrow - its a public holiday so may well come back to bed after breakfast!

Good morning Jane and all who follow. Raining here still - non stop since yesterday morning. Want someone to turn the hosepipe off now, there is supposed to be a ban.

Enjoy Anzac Day Jane. I am off to Portsmouth to meet up with crafty friends I met at the Make It show, picking one of them up on the way down.

Well we have sunshine at the moment, washing machine on... so I am keeping fingers crossed!
Daisy seems to be better this morning, she did nothing but sleep yesterday evening and slept through the night. Everything seems to be in working order
She had her breakfast and is now fast asleep.
Not much doing today, Keith is still in bed, so cant do any hoovering.. no point in dusting! Oh well... nearly time for Jeremy, coffee and feet up!

Hope you had a good day at least the weather held off for the day, doesn't sound
like we are going to be so lucky tomorrow though.

Haven't done much crafting lately due to decorating but I am going to a little claire day at crawley on the 26th May.
I spoke to Heidi from there at the make-it show and she told me we are making 13 cards so that should make up for
my lack of work so far lol!

Hope you are all doing ok and that this weather improves soon as it is somewhat depressing, it is hard to get motivated
when it is permanently raining outside.

Oh Pat, what a shame. We met at Port Solent in the David Lloyd Bar, upstairs in Weatherspoons. They are a really mad crowd and it brought back memories of what this forum used to be like when I chat to them on Facebook.
