Sunny Sunday
Good morning Ladies and Gents.
I hope that you are all well.
We left Penzance yesterday morning at 5am and arrived home at 11 am ish not bad going, the roads were empty all the way. I hate coming home as there is always so much to do, unpacking the car takes about 40 mins as Alan takes so much stuff, he even brought a new laptop this time.
The weather was good most of the time and when we did have some rain it was usually in the morning with lots of sun in the afternoon.
I did buy a load of craft books that I haven't seen in the shops before and a new HOTP template, I also brought some really nice unmonted stamps they look like stain glass window pannels with a sentiment that could be used for many different occasions.
As usal I brought loads of beautiful papers and some more Nesstability dies and some Cosmic shimmer watercolours, these are so easy to use and the resualts are brilliant.
So whats been going on for the past two weeks? I have missed Moo vision so I shall have to catch up with that. I pleased to see that Andrea has taken on the birthday club, thanks Andrea.
I had a surprise when I got home, the tickets had come for the Malta trip that I'm going on with my mum and my Aunt, I thought I had better dig out my passport only to find it's still in my previous married name and I had booked my tickets in my maiden name plus we thought we were going on the 28th October only to find it's the 27th so Alan has to change his day off as he is taking us to the airport. I had to pay another £34 to get my ticket to match my passport, D'oh, I'm not looking forward to this holiday as in the Seven years that I have been with Alan we have never gone a day with out seeing each other and I'm going to miss him like mad.
Well breakie is calling, I'm really hungry so it will be a full English this morning and then food shopping and loads of H*******K yuck.
Have a great day what ever your doing.
xx

Re: Sunny Sunday
Welcome back Mikki even if it is only for a few days, you lucky thing Coming home will be like a 2nd honeymoon too after being away from Alan for the 1st time. When an exciting few weeks you have ahead of you
I've finally got a face that doesn't resemble a football after my recent dental treatment and with a bit of luck I may be able to eat something that hasn't been pureed today he he As Paracetamol is the only pain killer that I am not allergic to I tend not to take it unless its an emergency. but these last few days I have taken a whole strip, which is more than I have taken in the last 6 years. Not something I want to repeat any time soon he he. Still I'm on the mend now so its onwards and upwards as they say he he
Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday and are in good health ... Lavender how's your virus coming along since you went to the doctor?
Hugs to all

Re: Sunny Sunday
Nice to see you back Mikki, if only for a short time . I am sure you will enjoy your holiday once you are on the way, and as Jen says you have someone to come back to
Sorry to hear it has taken so long for you to recover from the dentist, you always sound so cheerful in your emails and on the forum that I tend to forget you have your problems Hopefully you will feel a little better soon

He he then its working The thing is that when you are ill daily the last thing you want to do is inflict that on others too. I learned when I first developed fibromyalgia that folks will ask how you are and sincerely mean it, but after a week, a month of no reprieve they feel guilty asking and to be honest not many want to know. Its not because they don't care its because its human nature, everyone becomes acclimatised to it and therefore no longer think of you as being ill, which is great by me Does that make sense ? So I tend to just mention the additional bits like tooth extraction ... hey its new so a novelty he he As for being happy all the time its in my nature, partly as it makes me feel better and secondly being vain it gives better wrinkles than frown lines he he.
Re: Sunny Sunday
Hello Mikki and all, lovely to see you back with us. Hope you ladies are all having a lovely day. Janet xx

That's a good one Jen - you're one special lady and so encouraging to others even when you're having a tough time yourself.
Thanks for bringing a smile to our day. (s*d the wrinkles!)

Re: Sunny Sunday
Evening ladies, just a quickie to let you know Jayne might not be around for a few days because she us having pc probs.
take care all
take care all
Re: Sunny Sunday
Oh doh Jan, can you let Jayne know that we hope her comp problems are very temporary please ? She thought that she had had the 3rd thing happen too, its not playing fair having a 4th
Re: Sunny Sunday
Well I will say this only once Mike told her to ring Dell and see if they could sort it but she decided to take it on herself to reformat her pc before making sure she had everything she needed and well now although the puter is working she cant get online because the ISP disc she has might be faulty, typical Jayne run straight on in....just glad she werent born a lemming or she would be over that cliff without a second thought
Oh and she has lost everything that was on her puter because she couldn't get it backed up before the reformat, something Dell might have been able to avoid she just wouldn't listen

Oh dear, sorry to hear about Jayne will miss her hope she gets back soon. ok as I dont know much about computers how on earth do you go about `backing up` what you have on here, I have done some of my pictures where I have `burned` to a cd, but what about everthing else Janet xx

Martin added an external hard drive to my computer and when I shut down it automatically saves anything extra I have done (as long as I remember to turn it on before I shut down ) If my computer goes wrong he should have everything on the hard drive to put it all back on (that's the theory anyway )
Poor Jayne, I hope she manages to get it sorted out
Re: Sunny Sunday
As Jacky has said Janet if you have a lot on your pc that you couldn't bear to lose or don't want the hassle of having to find all over again then you might be best off with an external harddrive, this just connects to your pc and allows you to either automatically or manually backup anything you might have saved during your time on the pc
Re: Sunny Sunday
Thank you Jacky and Jan I will look into that, what would I do without you all Janet xx
