It's very cold and wet here this morning, I hope none of you have suffered due to the wind and rain, yesterday loads of places around here were flooded, luckly we were ok.

I went to mums yesterday her cold has finally gone but she is in great pain with her back and March can not come soon enough as she will be having her op then.

Are any of you going to the craft show at Sandown race course at the weekend?, I am thinking about going on Sunday.

I think like Janet I will be making some cards in front of the fire.

Morning all Didn't sleep very well again last night, my own fault as watched QVC until 12.30 then lay in bed having all these ideas for cards etc. and couldn't stop my mind working Got my hairdresser coming at lunchtime and then late afternoon going to the cinema to see Australia - don't think I would stay awake for that long if we went in the evening

It's really cold and wet out there today so I'm glad that I'm not up to going anywhere he he. I am feeling better than yesterday though, thank goodness the rash is dying down and has almost gone. I had forgotten about the ribbons Andrea, the money hasn't been taken out of my bank yet so doubt that they have been sent to me. I hope they don't take too long

I've just checked my account on the site and it still just says payment received but nothing about them being despatched. Perhaps they had a sudden rush on orders and haven't been able to cope Hope they are sent tomorrow if they haven't already been sent.

Has anyone received the February issue of Making Cards yet. I didn't get the Jan one but they sent me a replacement and was just wondering if I had missed out on the February one too

So much craft on telly yesterday, today and even a slot tomorrow, we are spoilt. I have to record the daytime bits and then watch them when I get back from work. Need a rich man then more more 9-5 for me

Unfortunately work put a block on streaming otherwise I would have watched them here
Its a slow day at work today, shame I couldn't convert the first aid room to my craft room then I could get on with a few overdue projects!
Never mind only 6 hrs to go till home time

morning all hope you all feel better soon, i went to the docs last night and he wont start me on the new treatment yet, last week i had something come to my left foot didnt think it was gout because it wasnt the same pain, but he says it could have been so have to wait another 2 weeks, that is what i told my boss last week when he came, he was saying that i am only getting sick pay and need to get back to work for the money, i said to him straight away, sorry but my health is more important to me than money.

I didnt like the tsv on qvc last night good job really has i spent on c&C monday, two hours of craft today so must get on and get done so i can watch, the sun has come out here but it looks cold out.

Two weeks I hope you have something for the pain though Janette. Hugs for you too as I missed you out of the list earlier The trouble is you are not appreciated at work nowadays. Sally has worked several 12 hour days and went in on Sunday this week and she doesnt get paid overtime. It's because it is the end of their year and end of the month so twice as much work to do. She came out at 9.45 last night and came to us to be fed - she looked exhausted She says tonight she will leave at the proper time. The trouble is she is at the end of the procedures and is having to rectify other people's mistakes I didn't like the TSV either Jan, it looked awkward the way she was leaning over it. I have a fiskars rotary which the blades are almost as easy to change, so I won't be buying it

thanks jacky yes if you shook me i would rattle i have that many tablets to take every day, Lou missed you as well, hope your feeling better soon, dont know why he didnt send me for another blood test to see how much acid is there.

I dont make enough things to warrant buying the tsv Jacky i always buy my cards pre - scored i just like my decoupage has people who have had birthdays will see, ha ha but i think everyone trys everything to start with then they find what they like the best, cant wait for those fans to come from C&C cant wait to start on them, and then i bought the Glitter Girls CD as well its like waiting for xmas.

Good afternoon ladies. Quite cold here this morning but nice and sunny now. It was a bit nippy lying on the floor doing pilates at 9 o'clock this morning!

Thank you all for your good wishes for Roy. Stubborn so and so has gone to work -partly 'cos there have been some redundancies and he has lost part of his team and wants to see what's going on. They work for a different company to him ( which has been taken over hence the redundancies) as he is working on a project run by a consortium of 3 companies. And partly 'cos he was bored stiff staying at home. But he has phoned and says he feels rotten. He's got a doctor's appt tomorrow so maybe he will stay at home for the rest of the day. Hope so otherwise I can see myself having to take him to Reading as I don't think the train journey will do him any good.

Glad you're feeling a bit better Jen and do hope Jayne is Ok Jan. Hugs to all those who are under the weather or a bit down.

I'm thinking of going to Sandown Mikki but will probably go Thursday or Friday.

Have spoken to Jayne and she has been back to the doctors and has a stomach infection now as well and is feeling uncomfortable with it
