Glad the weather is improving now for you. Its been a little warmer here (34 - 37) which gives us a chance to get aclimatised for our bush trip next week when its expected to get up to 45 by Friday again!

Had a lovely day at the craft fair and met loads of new people to swap cards and ATCs (+ 3 I've been corresponding with recently)to) It was held in a large air conditioned race course grandstand. Managed to keep my spending to a minimum but watched loads of demos and got lots of freebies.

Good morning all....

Well I am here.... shattered... but well happy!! The party was fab! There was a bit of drama at one point but only coz my recently kicked out brother in law decided to phone my sister in the middle of the party and try and stir up some muck!! But it didn't work for long and my dad ended up getting on the phone to him and putting him straight! She (my sister) then proceeded to down a bottle and a half of white zinfandel wine LOL!!

Ady was well shocked with his 'surprise guests' and went to bed this morning at 2am a happy man! That was all that mattered! Thanks for thinking of us yesterday, sorry I didn't get on but was mega busy! We have ended up with more booze in the house than when we started the party, so who's coming round??? LOL!!!

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend... I am having a VERY RESTFUL day today as I am aching like mad for some reason Laughing Laughing

Good morning Sunday Empty Night, night, Sunday

Post  poppytree Sun Feb 22, 2009 1:38 pm

Sounds like we've all had a good weekend. I won't be around for the next 6 days or so as we're off on an adventure to the Flinders ranges and the outback in a 4 wheel drive (and tiny cesna plane) so will say bye for now. Hopefully will have some spectacular piccies next weekend if we survive!

There certainly are Di!!! My hubby is one of them LOL!! Have checked everyone is all right after the 'hiccup' and they are all fine... apparently BIL has apologised and asked my sister to pass on his apologies to me and Ady too.....like I am bothered! Apparently he was drunk and had been at a footy match and his team lost 3 - 0 so he decided to wind my sis up a bit... now you know why she is divorcing him !!

Post  Craftworker Sun Feb 22, 2009 7:37 pm

Good afternoon all, I am shattered. I offered my spare ticket to the show to the friend I go to craft group with but her son is over from the USA so she didnt want it. Then I had a text from Sadie to say she was on her way to the show so thought I may as well use the ticket and go meet her. What a lovely lady she is and so is her husband. So glad I went, also saw Bev & Barry again as well as Macula and her daughter Very Happy Only spent a couple of hours there plus some more money - not a lot though but I kept seeing stalls that somehow I missed yesterday Very Happy

Glad to hear you enjoyed your party Lou Laughing Ian's birthday dinner went okay too but I couldnt believe how tired I was. Lots of leftovers for tonight though. Laughing
Hope Carrie isn't in too much pain Jan - and it was lovely to meet all of you yesterday Very Happy Hope the gimp works Laughing Laughing Laughing

Good idea Andrea lol! She's got soup, jelly and yoghurt, have got porridge for the morning Smile
She did make me laugh though, was saying to me about a few people she knew that had been sedated and they told her they got home and slept until the next day and she said to me I'm fine wide awake, she then sat down and promptly fell asleep and has been that way for the past 3 and 1/2 hours, snoring like a little piggy lol!

What I have been worried about with Carrie being on them so much, she is allergic to penicillin so has less options than most people and didn't want it getting to a stage where they had to give her really strong ones where the ones they have been giving her stop working Rolling Eyes
