Morning ladies from a pooped but very happy lady he he My granddaughters wanted to join in the final of SCD last night so I was "forced" to dance with them, he he an energetic 7 and 5 year old wore me out after ....... um 10 mins he he but you have to keep going as they are not young long Smile I would hate their memories of me to be as a sickly Mimi who had to sit down all night he he Once they go to bed though I lie on the sofa thinking oh my word you can't do this next time he he Smile It was great fun he he. It was a brilliant final too and I'm glad that Rachel and Tom were the final two as I never took to Lisa at all, she just seemed so false all the time.

I also got to watch DVDs of their school concerts as grandparents couldn't go. They were so cute he he. The youngest one loves to sing and always tickles me when she goes to Tesco or Asda etc as she is convinced that she can sing at the top of her voice and no-one in the shop can hear her he he I have no idea where she got that idea from but its hysterically funny Smile Perhaps she will be on X factor one day he he

Off to get the non-perishables and frozen foods ready for the holiday period later on though I am dreading the crowds. Still it has to be done he he.

Have a lovely day girls and Jacky I'm glad I made you smile yesterday he he Smile

Afternoon all. Had a really lazy morning, catching up on Casualty and then Ian called round to pick up the presents he has left here for his wife so that he can wrap them while she is at work. Then got the "Christmas" cake in the oven and it smell so nice now. Thanks for that recipe Jen, been meaning to make it for days and it is soooo easy to make. Left it a bit late but I know it will get eaten just the same Laughing Just hope it comes out of the tin ok Laughing Laughing Martin has gone shopping for a few odds and ends so I just nipped up here to have a quick look at what's going on.

Enjoy your weekend all Very Happy

Glad you had such a lovely day with your granddaughters Jen. Sounds like you had fun. Hope you're not too pooped today. I enjoyed the programme too - I just love Tom and Camilla (well someone has to..people have been quite cruel with their comments recently) and so glad they won

Hope the rest of your and fit and well ready for Christmas.
Enjoy your shopping trips those of who venturing out today.

But the viewers all must like Tom as he had the highest vote from them both times Very Happy Still couldn't see how he got into the final as after the first round the other two tied again when they added last weeks scores on confused Not worried cos I wanted him to win too. Laughing

Might take a trip to Craft Central in Farnham and that is also closing today. Had a text from an ex-workmate yesterday but had forgotten about it this morning.

Good afternoon ladies, a bit earlier today I think!!

Have been wrapping pressies all day so far!!! Got a backache and several papercuts! Next year I am using cheap paper....it doesn't do cuts!!!

Kids are round nannies making mince pies and hubby buzzed off down the town to find me a pressie so have hadChristmas Bliss on the telly blaring and sing to my hearts content!

Jenny I would have loved to see you and your grandies last night.... am well chuffed that Tom and Camilla won as I have loved them from the start....being a Holby addict helped!!! I preferred Brendan and Lisa to Rachel and Vincent, but then I can't stand Vincent!! Brendan makes me giggle even if he is arrogant !

Hope any poorlies are getting better... my girls are picking up nicely now and seem well on the road to recovery which is great... hubby woke up with a mega sore throat though so he aint coming near till Chrismtas is over.... he can kiss the dog on christmas day LOL

Afternoon ladies Smile
Should have got the bind it all yesterday and not dithered they had all gone by the time we got there today Mad So nipped over to the Craft Central at Ashford hoping for a bargain only to find out they weren't having a closing down sale as the guy who runs/owns Bybrook has decided to keep the craft shop running, wont be up and running proper for about a month but at least we will have one left in the area, think that will be the closest one to me now Crying or Very sad but at least will still have one Smile Must have missed you Janet what time were you there, we didn't get there until just before midday!!
Sounds like great fun with the Grandchildren Jen Smile
Your poor dog Lou fancy making it kiss your hubby lol!
Just watched Apparitions on iplayer, not sure if it was last one for time being but it has been really good even though it is not the sort of thing I usually watch.

I would have made him go on his own Janet and pick you up again on his return journey. You could have had a real good browse and a cup of coffee with Jan. I got to the Craft Central here and got some encaustic waxes half price so that was great. Didnt know which ones I needed but they all come in in time Laughing Laughing Martin did pick up the Cricut then realised they had already put the discount price on it so put it back down again Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Must admit I couldn't remember which one everyone said would be best to get anyway. Might get one for my birthday next year though Very Happy The lady in Craft Central said they had already got a buyer interested so would probably reopen in the new year. Just thought that if that one had closed, Anne would get more customers going to her Laughing Laughing

The Cricut everyone is raving about Jacky is the Expression the bigger one, I sometimes wish I had it but am more than happy with the one I have, unless your doing school projects or the like then I think 5 and half inch letters are more than adaquate for what i do but saying that I think if you have the design studio as well with it then it opens up a whole new world of possibilities.....hhhmmm now you got me thinking Jacky Laughing Got to start making the cards pay for themselves I think before I even consider an Expression well unless a really good deal came along Laughing

Evening ladies. Been at Roy's all day as his brother came to exchange Christmas pressies. Fortunately he was only staying for lunch as Roy has now got whatever this bug is that I've had all week (and still got) and he is very hard work. His brother that is. Talks at you non-stop! Asks a question but doesn't wait for an answer before he's onto something else.

Was that the Craft Central near Bordon Jacky? There's another one at Arborfield as well but I think they've all gone into administration. Off to watch a bit of telly then an early night as didn't get to sleep till 4am then up at 8 !!
