Another Thursday

Spent the day at various beaches and finished up shopping at West Lakes in the north west of the city.

Had a meal out with the family and the girls collected shells and had a play and paddle till bedtime - we stayed on to see the sunset. - Beautiful evening


Brighton Beach at 7.30pm

Thursday is yet nother bright and sunny day and we're off to Reynella to visit Hardy's winery and Mount Lofty soon. Planning to go top the gaint rocking horse tomorrow (Friday, as its our last full day with the hired car)

Well hubby survived the dog walk this morning ...

Had a scare with my Epson printer last night just as I was finishing some cards It came up with an error message saying that parts in my printer had got to the end of their life and it needed servicing.... disabled the printer completely... so I 'googled' the error message and was able to download some software to reset the counters in the printer, apparently it is an inbuilt waste ink monitor and all I need to do is empty the waste ink tank which I am going to try tomorrow! Thanks heavens for Google!! I have done this once before with an Epson but didn't still have the software but luckily the one I found on the web as a free download was the same one!

Jane.... those beaches look fabulous, I could just do with a nice laze on one of them with a good book myself.

I have just been to the post office as my purchase with my 'Red Letter Days advertising revenue' has arrived so I have just packaged it off to the new lucky owner LOL.... hopefully they will recieve it tomorrow! And then I'll be in for a massive earbashing!!!

Just got back from school and its quite mild out - was surprised!!! Did have a shower of rain, but not a lot.
Went to Amy's school last night - an interesting evening. Managed to get round most of the courses Amy is interested in. The Heath and Social Care sounds good, a lot of coursework involved - but does sound interesting. Still got until September to decide exactly what she wants to do and there are more evenings planned.

Just got back home and it is very warm outside, a lot warmer than it looks

Morning all, overcast but not so cold today. Andrea have a great time with that cd. I was looking at that too but I would need a new printer to print out 12 x 12 sheets as that is what I use for scrapbooking Looked really good and maybe will succumb and use it for card making. Glad the evening at school went well for you and Karen Jan have fun at the Joke shop I have got a couple of cards I must do today. Martin's birthday is on Mothers day so we have told the kids that they have to treat us both that day. I am going to try and get his card made while he is at work today. Started to do it the other day and he came home from golf earlier than I thought Lou, is your printer a laser printer, never heard of waste ink tank apart from the colour copier I used at work

Its an inkjet printer hun, I think the 'ink tank' they talk about on this model is a fluffy absorbant pad.... but I need to look into it further! How that is defined as a 'tank' I'll never know!!!

Would need another mortgage if we all got the craft stash that we wanted needed Jacky

Oh Jacky a new printer that sounds good Ive mainly got it for card making has i dont do scrapbooking, but thats next on my list to print out 12 x 12

I did Sally a photo/scrapbook for her 21st and Ian complained because I hadnt done him one. Sally's was mainly photos throughout her life with just a couple of comments but Ian`s took a couple of years to make as all his first photos were on slides which we had to scan into the computer too. He put it on display at his wedding - I was so proud - and it was a real talking point as a lot of the guests photos were in there too. So glad I did it for him, he loves it. I started another one at the beginning of 2007 - was putting in days out for each month. Did Jan, Feb, March - then April I broke my foot and then a week later my brother died suddenly whilst on holiday. The last photo in the scrapbook is a photo of my brother at Martins 60th Birthday - the last time I saw him - so I have never done any more. I really enjoyed doing them so think I will have to put that one aside and start a new one - I want to do my life and also one with my family tree in it Now I need a tissue

I toyed with the idea of a family tree one but the amount of family I have would make it a monster scrapbook

Glad you are OK, I think sometimes things can store up and it's a good thing to get it out now and then, thats why I like my blog... I can sound off on there and nobody has to read it if they don't choose too but I feel better getting it all off my chest x

Hi ladies havent been round much this week have been having internet probs sometimes it lets me on and other's it says go away ha ha, then when i rang virgin they told me i could have had one of there routers for nothing because i have one of the large packages, now they tell me.

I am feeling a lot better Lou thanks till next week when its mothers day, cant win can you, it just hit me hard last week has i was feeling a bit fed up as well.


Well this is short and sweet has hubby at home this week so we are going out with a packed lunch to look at the trains chuff chuff, steam trains that is, at our local severn valley (bewdley), its so quite and peacfull down there and the birds sing its lovely, so had better go and get ready.

Thanks all. That's my problem too Jan - I am one of 5, mum & dad were both 1 of 7 and they all have about 4/5 kids too. I was thinking of just going along with me, mum & dad, Grandparents, Great Grand parents & great great grandparents as I have photos for them which I would like to label so the children know who they all are - and then just add a family tree in it too. I think looking at that cd made me want to do one again but then I realised why I hadn't but have got inspiration now.

im so fed up now my cd has not come in the post
