Good morning everyone, bit cold here today but at least it's dry.

Sun shining and daffs looking good - may rain later but I'm making the most of it and actually up and dressed now. Think I'm over the jetlag and am waking at normal time now. Had another good night's sleep and it makes such a difference.

Of to browse my local craft shop lookingfor new products and inspiration. Have planned the subjects for my next 6 classes but need to make samples soon. Seem to be leaning towards 'shabby chic and vintage' at the moment with lots of ribbons, jewels and silk flowers featuring.

Bought some lovely chipboard shapes and books so need to get to work on those soon

Well my hubby has a couple of days off and the weathers dry so looks like that paint we bought last week will be maing an appearance today! We are sanding down and repainting te outside woodwork, daft person who lived here before us put in wooden framed double glazing and it is looking rather shabby I must say.... not for long tho!!

Morning all, been out in the greenhouse this morning planting up some plug plants - geraniums - which my sisters ordered and we are all sharing. Still waiting for the others (can't remember what I ordered now) so means another trip to Cheltenham to pick them up when they come. (unless one of my sisters decides to visit us) Lost all my geraniums this year, I usually manage to overwinter them but think it was too cold this year The sun is shining here this morning but the wind is a little chilly though. Watched QVC last night and was tempted but as Jen said, would I use them or would it be another lot of card which I keep as "too nice to use". What are we like

Good morning everyone. The sun is out but it is very windy here today. I have had to put double the amount of pegs on the washing so hopefully it will stay on the line today.

I still have Kayleigh off so I wont be going anywhere today, maybe we can do some crafting together a bit later

Hi all Andrea ribbons what colour do you want and what width i have some lovely ones how much do you want ha ha.

Bit cold here this morning although the sun is out, opened my back door to go and peg some washing out and there was a squirrel sitting on the lawn looking at me.

have taken some photos of him or her sitting on my bird table eating stale cake that i put out for the birds, didnt feel to good yesterday got up with an upset stomach and just had no energy all day, then sons girlfriend came up last night and she said her mom had come home feeling like it as well so must be a bug going round, feel a lot better today.

right am off to watch qvc and make some cards this after back later

Jacky, all my geraniums died this year too, even my hebes took a real bashing so am gonna have to cut them right back

Well I have been glossing, hubby has done all the sanding down as my hands didn't wanna play ball!!! But the glossing I can manage. So the kitchen window outside in now gleaming white again! Hubby is now up a ladder rubbing down the two big windows at the front of the house at the top... which are our daughters bedroom windows, so they will get a gloss too (by him, I don't do ladders! LOL) and then he is gonna rub down the front door and I will undercoat and gloss it black! We are gonna look soooooo smart!!

OOOhhhh Janette are you offering i want some yellows and oranges , ive had a lovely chill day at my parents look forward to next week I found the ribbon site so i hope they are here soon.

I wouldn't do ladders either Lou, especially the one without the porch underneath. I don't even like looking at Martin up them because I know how clumsy he is on the ground never mind a ladder. It's looking good though, quick work.

Well generally he only gets one day off a week..... and doing DIY is the last thing he wants to do.... but I cracked the whip this time x

Poor guy he's doing a good job though Unfortunately, you do need to do it annually though with wooden frames and especially living close to the sea as the salty air plays havoc with them.

Well been for the interview and the job was not what I was expecting at all, was supposed to be sales administrator but it's basically ringing companies who are building new homes and business premises and trying to flog them windows or tender a quote so quite disappointed but nothing I couldnt handle lol so will have to wait and see now

So more cold sales rather than sales admin ? Either way it would be a little extra money for a bit for you and might lead to something else down the road. Hope you are lucky if you want the job
